Very very late New Product/s Alert.
So sometime ago we were offered an opportunity to test some replacement aftermarket transmissions cases by a vendor here in Australia (Powerglide & T400)
Now being well aware of many knockoffs in the industry I was a little hesitant, my main stipulation was that as long as they weren’t made in Chyna then we would take a cuple for testing.
Recently an opertunatey arose when Luke Rosadi’s burnout car aka “Disabled” cracked a case due to a slightly undesirable driveshaft/pinion angle, so we all agreed to swap the internals over into one of these cases & test it out.
Now I’m not going to lie & say the change over went without encountering a few small problems but for the most part everything important measured up & fitted well as the swap came together Wednesday night last week.
Unfortunately the team run out of time for round 4 of the NQ Burnouts but should definitely be ready for Skids for Santa. They did however get it running & everything is working fine & it’s not leaking at this stage. 🤞🏼
Just a note these are not SFI rated cases & if all goes well will be only using them as replacement OE cases or in place when an SFI is not a requirement.

With a little luck the NORTRANS Racing Pro Buggy 28 will be competing at Charters Towers
this weekend,, the team has been working hard to make it to this next round after the unfortunate conrod/s failure at the infamous DON (doom) RIVER DASH just a few weeks ago. This time around the crate 62 was pulled down & rebalanced for the Carrillo rods & Mahle 2618 pistons, added a little more spice to the valve train & to top it off we had our mate at Proport make the cylinder heads shine.
