Most RAM owners are well aware of the dreaded HEMI lifter tick… but that ticking noise isn’t always coming from inside the engine. 👀

We’re starting to see cracked exhaust manifolds becoming a very common problem on these trucks.

This one came in with the right bank cracked almost 90% of the way through and the left not far behind. While it was in the workshop, we also had the task of removing the transmission to replace a leaking rear main seal.

If your RAM has developed a tick; especially on cold start, don’t automatically assume the worst. It could be lifters, but cracked manifolds are definitely something worth checking first.

This BT-50 rolled in recently for a full suspension upgrade 🔥

Being a site car and constantly loaded up with plenty of weight, it needed a suspension setup that could handle the abuse without sacrificing ride quality.

Not your everyday job 👌

This tough ‘32 Ford rolled into the shop and it grabbed everyone’s attention! You don’t see many of these getting around, and this one definitely turns heads for all the right reasons.

We’re usually buried in 4WDs, but builds like this are a good reminder of where it all started.

This clean Barra swapped TD Cortina come through the shop to diagnose a misfire issue. After fault finding, we upgraded the fuel pump wiring to properly support the big fuel system.

We love seeing tough old-school builds done right.

It’s been a minute between posts, things have been busy with heaps of big jobs as we gear up for the holiday and 4WD season!

We recently completed an auto conversion on Stuart’s super tidy steel dash 79, supplied by Wholesale Automatics. This build uses the 200 Series AB60 transmission while keeping the stock tailshafts and crossmember intact. The result? A smooth, reliable drive that feels as good as it looks.
