If working on diesels is your thing, there could be a spot for you in our workshop. 🔧

We’re looking for an experienced Diesel Motor Mechanic to join the Diesel Care Toowoomba team.

You’ll be working across diesel servicing, repairs, diagnostics and fuel systems, with modern diagnostic and testing equipment and plenty of variety coming through the workshop.

It’s a full-time, Monday–Friday position with ongoing training and development, including opportunities for in-house and manufacturer training.

We’re looking for someone who knows their way around diesel systems, enjoys fault finding and takes pride in quality workmanship.

Competitive wage package based on skills and experience.

This VDJ200 had a fair bit of carbon built up in the intake... soot from the EGR mixing with oil vapour over time. Our Toowoomba team got stuck into it and gave the intake a thorough clean! 🔧

Only 127,906 km… and this was hiding inside the intake. 😳

This 2016 Toyota LandCruiser 200 Series came to Diesel Care Toowoomba after another workshop diagnosed a blocked intake manifold.

Once removed, the reason was obvious.

Heavy carbon build-up had accumulated inside the intake over time.

Diesel Care carried out a thorough intake clean before reassembly, restoring proper airflow.

But what actually causes this carbon build-up?
