Weekend fun - replacing the all famous 3.6l alloytec timing chains.
These engines are renoun for timing chain issues, this one in particular came to us with cam/crank correlation codes, which from previous experience come down to stretched chains.
Generally speaking poor service history will most definitely speed up the process of having to do this work sooner. This is why it is very important and the kindest thing to do to these engines (and any engine in general) is to change the oil and filter every 10000ks maximum.
