We have a 2014 Iveco Daily having a lil refresh.
- new timing chain
- radiator check over
- water pump
- electric fan clutch
- fresh fluids
- new belts & pulleys

Just a little job.

We love days like today. 💛🔧

The customer whose vehicle is in our workshop today has been coming to Vali Garage for nearly 3 years — and that kind of loyalty genuinely means so much to Ross and I.

There’s something pretty special about seeing the same familiar vehicles and faces coming back through our doors, year after year. Knowing that our customers continue to trust us to look after their vehicles is something we never take for granted.

Small businesses like ours are built on loyal, genuine and supportive customers — the ones who keep coming back, recommend us to their family and friends, and support us through all the changes along the way.

So when we look around the workshop and realise, “They’ve been coming to us for nearly 3 years now!” — it makes us pretty proud of what we’ve built. 🥰

🏗️ THE SLAB IS DOWN! 🏗️

We’re one step closer to getting Mrs Vali back where she belongs… at the workshop! 💙🔧

✅ The concrete slab has been prepped and poured and is now curing nicely.
✅ We’ve found the perfect shipping container, and it’ll be arriving very soon!

Now comes the exciting part… turning an ordinary container into the new Vali Garage office! 🛠️✨

If you know us, you know we can’t leave anything plain—we’ve got plenty of ideas, and there’ll be a few surprises along the way!

Never a dull moment here at Vali Garage! 😄

🚗🔧 MOBILE MECHANIC… WELL SORT OF! 😂

We had an urgent call-out first thing this morning… but not for a car! 😆

The patient’s complaint? A petrol pressure washer that had decided to retire without notice.

So, armed with tools and ready for a major roadside rescue, we travelled the long and treacherous distance of… around the corner to the next shed within our complex🚶‍♂️🧰

After a few diagnostic checks, the culprit was found…

✨ One lonely spark plug! ✨

A quick replacement later and she fired straight back into life! 💪

The owners can now officially resume with the shed clean-up and we’re pleased to report the mobile mechanic division has completed another successful emergency call-out. 😎

Phew… big morning! Time for a well-earned coffee! ☕😂

😂 REMEMBER WHEN "GOING ONLINE" MEANT SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT? 😂

Kids these days will never understand...

Back in our day, "going online" meant grabbing hold of the old Hills Hoist clothesline and swinging around as fast as you could until someone got dizzy, flew off, or Mum yelled at you to stop! 🤣

Just a metal clothesline, a backyard full of imagination, and a healthy disregard for personal safety. 😂 Sometimes it feels like we grew up in a simpler time — no smartphones, no tablets, just bikes, backyards, and finding ways to entertain ourselves until the streetlights came on.
No Wi-Fi.
No passwords.
No charging cables.

Only in Toowoomba... So I stopped to get fuel at a local bowser and to get a drink this afternoon.

As I drove up, I noticed these 2 coppers watching a man who was smoking while fueling his car! I saw him and thought, is this guy stupid, crazy, or both especially with the cops standing right there.. But anyways, I minded my own business and went inside and got a drink. As I was paying for my stuff, I heard someone screaming!! Like I’m talkin’ violent death screams I looked outside and I saw that this man’s arm was on fire! He was swinging his arm, running around going nuts!

When I got outside the police had the man on the ground and they were putting out the fire Then they put handcuffs on him and threw him in the cop car..

I was thinking, arrested? Shouldn’t he be in an ambulance not a cop car? So, being my nosey a$$ self I asked the police what they were arresting him for?
He looked at me dead serious and said, “Waving a firearm”!!

🚜🌾 DAY ONE OUT OF THE WORKSHOP 🌾🚜

Today we swapped spanners for FarmFest and spent the day checking out everything on offer at this year’s event.

It was definitely a little on the windy side 🌬️, but that didn’t stop us from having a fantastic day. There was plenty to see, lots of great displays, innovative equipment, and we enjoyed catching up with familiar faces along the way like our oil supplier!

After spending days in the workshop, it was nice to get out and about, see what’s happening in our local community, and take in everything FarmFest has to offer.

Tomorrow we are off to the Gold Coast

🚗☀️ CLOSED FOR A SHORT BREAK ☀️🚗

Vali Garage will be taking a short break and will be closed from Thursday 4th June, returning on Tuesday 9th June, while we head off to enjoy a few days at Cooly Rocks On! 🎸🏁

For Ross and Mrs Vali, attending Cooly Rocks On has been a dream for many years, so we're excited to finally be making the trip. After a busy few months, we're looking forward to soaking up the atmosphere, admiring some incredible classic cars, enjoying the live music, and recharging the batteries.

Don't worry — we're sure there'll be plenty of photos and stories to share when we return! 📸🚘

We'll be back on Tuesday, refreshed and ready to help with all your servicing, repairs, and mechanical needs.
