It's been a very tough few weeks since my car was hit. I've managed to get some casual employment to keep me afloat.
News on my car! Unfortunately, they are not writing it off. Repairs were meant to be finalized today. Then they said the 12th, now the 21st. Fingers crossed for the 21st.
Moving forward from this:
When I have my car back, I will be continuing to operate; however, not on a full-time basis. Lessons will be booked via SMS only, as I have closed my website. Lessons will be subject to availability. I want to keep my job as it's stable income.
Most of you may or may not know, I had a car about 18 months ago which was rear-ended while I was in a lesson—not my student's fault.
As a result of that, my business income had dropped down to half.
When this happened in June, it hit me emotionally hard. It really took my drive for things in life.
I've been very lucky to have a very supportive network in Toowoomba, with parents reaching out, new and old friends checking in.
This is just a bump in the road, and I am fighting back for what I had built from the ground up. Life is too precious to waste it on the things that get you down.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out, checked in, stepped up, and wanted to catch up. It has helped alot..I am on the up!!
I look forward to catching up with past students & new students.
