2019 VDJ79 came in with the customer noticing a significant lack of power.. On the dyno for some diagnostics and it was pretty apparent it was a boost issue running 3.5psi. Standard turbo had stuck/seized veins.
🔧 We fitted a new Garrett Powermax Turbo along with a NPC 1600nm Clutch, Manta 3” Exhaust, DPU Pre Filter Kit, Manta Snorkel Ram Head and a Custom DPU Tune.
Coming alive again and ready for work.

Another Isuzu NPS 75/145 with the AMT Trans in for a few more 🐎🐎. Definitely a noticeable difference with these although the transmission is the limiting factor..

2023 79 in for a tune check after being tuned elsewhere. The customer is a heavy tower and even mentioned the vehicle was getting hot 🥵.
After some runs on the dyno we saw air fuel ratios in the 15:1’s in the driving range.

- After spending some time on the dyno retuning it with one of our custom DPU Tunes we ended up with a lot safer Air Fuel Ratios (18-19:1) for towing with a lot smoother Power and Torque delivery as seen on the green run lines on the graph.

- Unfortunately retunes are becoming more frequent lately.

Back at it for 2026 🔧💨

2019 DMAX getting set up to tow the van.
New MM4x4 Lockup kit fitted along with a Scan Gauge 3 & DPU Tow Tune. Nice 27kw and 106nm gain with stock exhaust and near stock afr’s. 👍
