Vale David Bowden It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of David Bowden. David served as Patron of our club from 1989 until 2024, an extraordinary 35 years of support. Throughout that time, he was a respected and valued member of our motorsport family. David's contribution to the club and the wider motorsport community will not be forgotten. His commitment helped shape our organisation and left a lasting legacy that will continue for generations to come. On behalf of all members, competitors, volunteers and friends, we extend our sincere condolences to David's family and loved ones during this difficult time. When it comes to Noosa Hillclimb legends, our number one legend has to be Trevor Bassett.

From the inaugural Noosa Hillclimb in 1998 right through to this year's event, Trevor has been a constant presence on the Hill. What makes his achievement even more remarkable is that he is still competing in exactly the same car he raced in at that very first event – his beloved 1971 Alfa Romeo GT Junior.

For nearly three decades, Trevor has embodied the spirit of the Noosa Hillclimb with his passion, dedication and unwavering commitment to the sport. Generations of competitors and spectators have watched him tackle the course, making him one of the most recognisable and respected figures in the event's history.

A true Noosa Hillclimb legend.

When you're in the pits this year, make sure you stop by and congratulate Trevor on his incredible achievement and long standing support of the event.
