After a little time off, we’re back and ready to get stuck into another week at Hunter Valley Performance & Service Centre!

We’re looking forward to catching up with everyone and getting your cars sorted. 🚗

This week is already filling up, but we have some availability from next week onwards, so if your car is due for a service or you’ve been putting off a repair, now’s a great time to get in touch and organise a booking.

📢 A little break for the HVP team! 🏁

We’ll be taking some well-earned time off from the afternoon of Thursday 1st October, reopening Tuesday 13th October.

We’ve chosen to take our break now, before we head into the busy period leading up to Christmas. As a small, independent workshop, it’s important for us to take some time throughout the year to recharge so we can come back refreshed and ready for the busy months ahead.

We’ll still be checking the phones at various times during our break for bookings. If you can’t get through, please leave us a message or send us an email and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

🏁 NSW HILLCLIMB CHAMPIONSHIP – ROUND 8 🏁

And that’s a wrap on the NSW Hillclimb Championship for 2026! What a season it’s been! ❤️

We all competed at Round 8 today, the final round of the series,, that was held at Mount Porcupine, Gunnedah, and there were some great results across the board.

🏆 Scott finished 2nd in his class today, which means he finishes the year 1st overall in his class for the NSW Hillclimb Championship! 🥇 What an awesome result after a big year of racing. The championship presentation will be held in Bathurst next February.

🏎️ Caitlin also had a great day out on the hill. She put in a solid effort, gained more experience and continued to build her confidence throughout the event. We’re really proud of her for getting out there, having a go and being part of the competition.

🏁 Wilkin finished 2nd in his class in his Mitsubishi Evo. He drove consistently throughout the day and put together a strong result, especially considering it was the first time he’d really driven the car. Great work! 👏

🏆 Congratulations to Jason from Jadamo Motorsports, who we sponsor, on taking 1st in his class today. A well-earned result and a great way to finish the championship season.

A huge thank you to our fellow competitors Jason, Jack, Craig, Chad, AJ & Brendan who have all become great friends throughout the season. Thanks to their wives and partners for all the support, encouragement and help they’ve given throughout the year. ❤️

We’ve shared many weekends of racing, hard work and laughs together. We’re so grateful to have such a fantastic group of people around us.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of our racing journey this year. We’ve loved every minute of it and we’re already looking forward to racing again next year.

Keep an eye on this space for some new vehicles and drivers joining us in 2027! 🏁❤️

We’ll only be open for a couple of hours tomorrow morning before we head off to Gunnedah for the final round of the NSW State Hillclimb Championships.

We had a pretty special car in the workshop earlier this month! 👌

This 1992 Bentley is in amazing condition and still running its factory V8 turbo. 😍

It came in for some engine diagnostics as it was running a little rich once it warmed up.

You don’t get to see many of these come through the workshop, so it was definitely one we enjoyed having a look at.

And just look at it… what a classic! ❤️

A reminder to all our customers, we will be closed tomorrow and reopening on Tuesday.

📢 Workshop Closure Notice 📢

Just a quick heads up to all of our wonderful customers.

Hunter Valley Performance & Service Centre will be CLOSED on Friday 7th August and Monday 10th August, reopening as normal on Tuesday 11th August.

Many of you know that Scott is rarely one to switch off. If you've driven past the workshop in the evenings, you've probably noticed the lights are still on. While the gates may be closed, there's a good chance Scott is still inside working away—often until around 10pm. Weekends are much the same.

This time, we've decided it's important for him to take a well-earned break that doesn't involve heading away to a race meeting! 😊

We usually choose to remain open between Christmas and New Year so we can be here for our customers, which means Scott's time away from the workshop is usually limited to public holidays—and even then, he's often still in the workshop working on cars.

We appreciate your understanding while he takes a couple of days to recharge. We'll be back on Tuesday 11th August, refreshed and ready to look after all your servicing, repairs, rego inspections and tuning needs.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support. It really does mean the world to our family business. 💙
