Some other progress on the Hardtop.... diff drain and jacking point, tr**ny crossmember opened up to clear 3.5" collectors and reinforced. Front section of exhaust completed.

Sometimes I'm left speechless at the nasty things some car people will inflict on others to make a dollar..... customer brought me this driveshaft to fit to his Hardtop. Paid a Lot of $$ for it. All painted nicely with new uni's and wrapped up in gladwrap. So I unwrap it while chatting to him and running my hands along it I feel a ripple in one area. It's a little oval at one end. I have massaged these back into shape with success in times gone by so a gentle squeeze in the soft jaws and start peening with a flatter and lo and behold.... a chunk of BOG falls out of it where the fu**er bogged it up to sell it as a good tailshaft. This s**t is criminal behaviour... literally as the failure of this part can easily cause serious injury or death. I swear... sometimes I'm ashamed to be a member of the human race when fukkas do s**t like this to others. The dent shown is about 6cm long and a cm deep.... definitely a failure point behind a healthy 500hp Cleveland backed up by a cogger.

Dedicated Chrysler throttle cable brackets for Holley style carburettors are now available. These are the other half of the 'set' to go with my return spring brackets. Doesn't get any simpler than these! Perfect geometry with a simple 3 minute installation. Should have done this decades ago instead of making them one at a time for each custom job. This is the first 'prototype' and I have a good quantity now being cut. Made to use the OEM cable clamp from any Chrysler cable mount.

Don't seem to be able to get away from the 4 letter word brand at present.... cut and modified a gearbox crossmember for an XB hardtop yesterday. Also did a drain plug and trolley jack boss on the diff. Lot to be done on this car as I prep it for Targa.

Damn... these TKO 600 TREMEC gearboxes are long!

Been rebuilding a Landcruiser gearbox and transfer case..... the box was so bad we abandoned it as it was cheaper to buy a brand new replacement from Toyota with a warranty then it was to rebuild the old one.

Transfer case is in progress.

Headers completed and fitted to the 1UZ-FE powered AE86 Corolla. Not a job I had been anticipating but a pleasing outcome. Making them was pretty straight forward, however it is the removal and fitting that takes it's toll. Looks like plenty of room from above... but whoever mounted the engine originally made the mounts so large and space consuming, there is very little room lower down.

As it is now...

I specialise in complete performance packages for Cars and Motorcycles, however I will enhance anything with an engine. I do this as a passion and like most things we love doing I have become very good at it over the 40+ years I have been obsessed. For more than a couple of decades people have been telling me I should work for myself, so now I have finally committed to my own workshop. This allows me to indulge in my own extremely high standards at a more affordable cost. I have a very broad range of refined skills encompassing everything from light machine work, cylinder head porting, torque convertor modification, suspension, brakes, diff and transmission building, to custom fabrication of headers and turbo or blower manifolds. All of this backs up my claim to being a true one stop shop where the customer does not need to transport their project to multiple locations for different stages. I also do the more basic regular maintenance of vehicles as time permits. As I have always stated... “When you can no longer control the power, you have enough!”
