IN a blow for greyhound racing in the New England region, GRNSW won't proceed with the purchase of a site for a proposed new track in Tamworth.

Disappointing news received from GRNSW advising that harness racing have pulled the pin on the block of land. I’m guessing the reason for this is the speed of which it has taken to get to this point. We’re now back where we were 2 1/2 years ago.
Candle is just about out.
