The Outlaw Hot Rod Club Inc was first formed 1995 when a group of enthusiastic hot rodders, started having monthly runs, meeting and supporting the pubs and clubs in and around the Tamworth region. As the numbers grew, the club saw the need to introduce a yearly run called “Rods on the Peel” – This saw rodders travel from far a field as Moree, Newcastle, Mudgee & the coastal areas of Taree and Cof

The introduction of Tamworth’s Swap Meet held in the early 1st quarter allowed the club to generate funds that would be donated to the Westpac Helicopter Service based in Tamworth

As our numbers grew, we saw many new classic cars appear on the scene as the cost of building a rod was out of reach of many. This movement has allowed the club to move forward and will generate new blood keeping the club viable for many years to come. Outlaw Hotrod Club has a mixture of Hot Rods and Classic Cars, with several new rods being built at present. At present the Outlaw Hot Rod Club meets bi-monthly and has 3-4 major runs per year, allowing our members to socialise with others enthusiastic car buffs and enjoying their rides.
