Next cab off the ranks is my 2006 VZ SS Thunder, in for a quick tidy up, full L98 engine rebuild, and get it back on the road after 4yrs 🤩

🖤 VT REVIVAL 🖤

After countless hours of mechanical tlc, chasing electrical gremlins, rust repair, panel repair, sanding, sanding, more sanding, painting and ALOT of polishing, the car is all but done 👌

A cupla little bits n pieces to refit and a full final detail is all thats left on what has been a mammoth job over the last few months!

Bit sad to see this one go tbh, wonder if they'll let me keep it 😜

💙🖤 VT REVIVAL UPDATE 🖤💙

The paint is cured and it's time to get her shining like a diamond 💎 before final reassembly 🤩

The car is being rubbed back flat with 800, 1500, 2000 and 3000 to remove any orange peel and urethane wave.
Then, a couple different compounds of Farecla's finest with the buff should give it a mirror finish 👌

It's always daunting sanding fresh shiny paint! But you've gotta trust the process... the long, painful process 😜
