🔧 BMW G01 X3 – Coolant Leak Diagnosis & Repair 🔧

This G01 X3 with the B48 engine came in with a coolant leak. After pressure testing and inspection, we traced the leak to the radiator and turbo coolant lines.

During the repair process, we also identified a hairline crack in the expansion tank. The tank was already heavily discoloured, a common sign of age-related degradation, and the coolant level sensor plug showed signs of internal corrosion. To ensure long-term reliability, the expansion tank was replaced as a preventative measure.

✔️ Expansion tank replaced
✔️ Cooling system refilled and bled as per BMW procedures

Preventative maintenance like this helps avoid unexpected breakdowns and costly engine damage down the track.

BMW F32 420i in for a service, cooling system leak diagnosis, and preventative maintenance 🔧

We carried out a full oil service and vehicle check, during which we identified a coolant leak from the water pump.

With the B48 engine being well known for having a weak cooling system, we recommended addressing the issue properly rather than replacing parts individually. The following components were replaced to ensure long-term reliability:

• Complete water pump with component carrier
• Oil filter housing
• Turbo coolant hoses showing early signs of leakage
• Additional coolant hoses as required

All work was completed using quality parts, followed by correct bleeding and checks to BMW specifications — helping prevent future failures and repeat repairs.

BMW G20 330i in this week for excessive vibration felt through the cabin.
After thorough inspection, we traced the issue back to a broken engine mount.

We replaced both engine mounts using genuine BMW parts, restoring smooth operation and eliminating the vibration completely.

BMW E60 N52 in today for an oil service and full inspection.

During our checks we found the electric water pump was faulting, and with the thermostat still being the original unit, we replaced both components as a preventive measure.
Cooling system was then correctly bled and vented as per BMW factory procedure to ensure proper flow and temperature regulation.

BMW M2 – Front Brake Service 🔧

Today we carried out a full front brake refresh on this BMW M2, replacing the front discs, pads, and wear sensor. All contact surfaces were cleaned thoroughly, and lubrication was applied exactly as per BMW’s specifications to ensure optimal braking performance and long-term reliability.

We also discovered the wheel lock bolts had been severely overtightened, which had damaged the customer’s wheel lock key. Using our specialised wheel-lock removal tooling, we safely removed the bolt without causing any damage to the wheel.

Today we had a MINI in with a B48 engine presenting a coolant leak. After a full inspection, we diagnosed the cause as a broken oil filter housing — a very common issue on these engines.

We replaced the housing, carried out a full system vent, and got this MINI back running cool and reliable again 🔧🚗💨

🚗💨 VW Golf 2.0 FSI – Rough Running Fixed!

This Golf came in running rough and down on performance. After some diagnostics, we found the intake valves were heavily coked up with carbon — a common issue on direct injection engines. 👀

We carried out a walnut blasting carbon clean to remove all the buildup and restore smooth airflow. The result? Crisp throttle response, smoother idle, and power back where it should be! 🔧✨

G82 M4 Competition 🚘 in for front and rear brake discs, pads, and sensor replacement 🛠️

We replaced both front and rear brake discs, pads, and wear sensors using genuine BMW parts ✅
All contact points were thoroughly cleaned and lubricated where required to ensure smooth and consistent brake performance.
