This Alfa Romeo Giulia came into the workshop with a failed water-to-air intercooler, which is integrated into the intake manifold. Coolant contamination and carbon build-up had taken their toll on the intake system.
Our repair included:
âś… Replacing the faulty integrated intercooler
âś… Removing the intake manifold
âś… Walnut blasting the intake ports and valves to remove stubborn carbon deposits
âś… Cleaning the intake runners and throttle body
âś… Reassembly with new seals and thorough testing
