This is an old customer of my who used to have a 2007 Forester but has recently upgraded to a new one.

He took our advice on his new Subaru and brought it in for a 6 month check.

Subaru say 12 months or 12,500 km for servicing. His car is only 6 months old with just over 3000 km on it and we found that the alignment is out (not set correctly from factory). If he managed to actually go a full 12,500 km he would’ve ruined his tyres on his new car.

We see this often with new cars. Best to get it checked early do save you in the future.

Can anyone tell me which model / letter / family member Forester is missing here?Clue in the hash tags. ...

Shiny 😎

This WRX came in last year with a 🌵motor.
Bottom end was swapped out with a new Genuine EJ257 (STI) short block. Full genuine gasket kit, ARP head bolts, new STI oil pump and a set of equal length headers.

It’s still in running in mode but so far customer says it’s going better on 7psi then it used to on 17psi. (Wait till we turn the boost up) 🤭

This Outback was in last year for a CVT & Diff fluid change (being Subaru don’t replace them) and was back in this week for service and alignment check (and a decal) 😆

Had a new Outback in for its first service the other day. We noticed the front tyres starting to show wear on the edges so they were rotated to the rear, rears balanced & then put to front, then alignment set to compensate.

New Subaru’s come aligned ok from the factory but as the suspension “settles in”, the geometry changes which can cause premature wear on your tyres. This can happen quite fast so we recommend getting them checked.

FYI, We don’t give your new Subaru to a random tyre shop to do this job.
We do it all in house 😎

Ok. We back. (Had issues with login since the new year). We keep a choice of colours in stock on 5th Gen Outback’s.
