📍 Combined Districts Kart Club – Marrangaroo, NSW

The 41st Clyde Marshall Memorial was run and won on Sunday, August 16 at Lithgow City Raceway, with the event also forming Round 5 of the 2026 Club Championship.

Chayse currently leads the Rookie Club Championship, and both boys arrived at Lithgow ready for another weekend of racing and more valuable seat time.

With Chayse in red-hot form over the past month, he entered the weekend as one of the big favourites in the Rookie class.

Qualifying: 🥇 P1/17 — 47.195, 0.6 sec clear of the field
Heat 1: P1 ➜ 🥇 P1 🟣
Heat 2: P1 ➜ P5
Heat 3: P2 ➜ P2 🟣
Final: P2 ➜ P4

Chayse continued his outstanding 2026 campaign with an absolute cracker of a qualifying lap, putting six tenths between himself and the field in the wet conditions.

He backed it up with a dominant Heat 1 victory.

Heat 2 brought some drama. Chayse ran wide and dropped all the way back to P17, but showed exactly why he is leading the championship, charging his way back through the field to finish P5.

Heat 3 was another great battle, with Chayse and Kayden Dale finishing in a dead heat.

Then came the final.

When the lights went out, Chayse dropped into P2. He had the pace to challenge for the lead, but was playing the long game — settling in, looking after the kart and waiting for the perfect opportunity to make his move.

But the track had other ideas.

As the circuit started drying out, the wet tyres began to overheat. The team had gone with extra tyre pressure expecting the track to remain wet, but the surface dried much quicker than anticipated.

Chayse cooked the rears and unfortunately became a sitting duck.

He dug deep, held on and brought it home in P4.

Not the result we wanted, but another weekend showing just how much pace, maturity and fight this young driver has. 💪🔥

Carmelo had an absolute ball this weekend! 😁🏁

Apart from a slip-up in qualifying, it was a really positive weekend for the young gun.

With extremely tricky wet conditions and 20 competitors on track, Carmelo showed he could keep the kart on the circuit, make some really good passes and, most importantly, keep his cool and finish every race.

More laps, more experience and more confidence behind the wheel. 👊

That’s exactly what we’re looking for from Carmelo as he continues to develop.

🏁 CHAYSE CLAIMS HIS 4TH STRAIGHT KNSW FEATURE RACE WIN OF THE SEASON & CARMELO MAKES THE PODIUM! 🥇🥉

📍 Manning Valley Kart Club – Wingham, NSW

The team made the trip north to Wingham for Round 3 of the 2026 Tri Series.

This weekend was all about seat time for Chayse and Carmelo — getting more laps under their belts, building confidence and getting comfortable with their machines.

Both boys had a fantastic weekend, with Chayse making it four straight KNSW feature race wins, while Carmelo secured his 3rd podium of the 2026 season! 🥇🥉

🏆🔥 3 ON THE TROTT FOR KARTING NSW! 🔥🏆

🏁 RACE #22 OF 2026
📍 Orange Kart Club – Orange, NSW

Round 5 of the Orange Kart Club Championship saw the team head to the sunny but bitterly cold NSW Central West for a weekend of racing.

With the next round of the Dunlop Kart Stars Championship just a few weeks away, the decision was made to use this weekend as a valuable shake-down run and an opportunity to fine-tune the kart.

The team arrived at Orange still riding high after taking out last weekend’s Round 5 of the Dunlop Kart Stars Championship at the fast and furious Eastern Creek circuit. 🏆🔥

Saturday’s practice was difficult to read, with everyone running different combinations — new tyres, old tyres and various setup changes. With no live timing available, it was almost impossible to know exactly where everyone stood in terms of outright pace.

Sunday was race day, with no qualifying, three heats of random-grid racing and a 10-lap Feature Race, with 15 challengers lining up in the Cadet 12 field.

🏁 ON TOP AT THE CREEK FOR DUNLOP KART STARS! 🏁

Race #21 of 2026
📍 Sydney Illawarra Kart Club – Eastern Creek Karts

Round 5 of the 2026 Dunlop Kart Stars Championship kicked off on Saturday with five practice sessions, followed by a six-minute qualifying session in the afternoon, before the real racing got underway on Sunday morning.

Practice was difficult to read, with everyone running different combinations — new tyres, old tyres and various setup changes — making it almost impossible to know exactly where everyone stood in terms of outright pace.

When qualifying arrived, everyone put their best setups on the track, and Chayse Attard put together a lap good enough to secure 4th position and a spot on the outside of the second row.

Sunday morning brought three hard-fought heat races and a 15-lap Feature Race, with some of the best Rookies in NSW battling it out to see whether we would have a repeat winner or a fifth different name engraved on the silverware.

After the struggles of last week’s Club Round at the same circuit — which was primarily used as a shake-down and preparation run for this event — the hard work appeared to have paid dividends.

A heat win, a 3rd and a 4th put Chayse on the outside of the front row for the Feature Race.

And what a race it was! 🔥

Chayse drove a smart, calculated race, settling into the top three before making his move when it mattered most.

He took the lead on Laps 10 and 11, dropped back to P2, and then, with everything on the line, made the move of the day.

Coming out of Turn 5 on the final lap, Chayse fired up the inside, made the move stick and crossed the line to take a commanding victory at Eastern Creek! 🏆🥇

Another huge result and another massive step forward for this young driver.

🏁 STRUGGLE STREET AT THE CREEK 🏁

📍 Greater Sydney Kart Club – Eastern Creek Karting

Round 4 of the 2026 Greater Sydney Championship saw Chayse line up for what was always going to be more of a shake-down weekend, with the bigger goal being to gain valuable seat time ahead of Round 5 of the 2026 Dunlop Kart Stars Championship, which will be held at the same circuit just one week later.

The biggest difference? This championship runs on Maxxis tyres, and neither Chayse nor the team had ever raced at this circuit before with this compound of tyre, That made for a tough weekend, but the focus was always on learning, gathering data and getting Chayse as comfortable as possible around the track.

🏁 CHAYSE CLAIMS HIS 4TH FEATURE RACE WIN OF THE SEASON & CARMELO MAKES A COMEBACK! 🥇🥉

📍 Grenfell Kart Club – Bob Hind Memorial
Grenfell, NSW

BRP Motorsports made the five-hour trip to the historic town of Grenfell, NSW – home of the legendary Henry Lawson – for the Grenfell Kart Club’s Bob Hind Memorial.

The team had two karts to prepare for the weekend after Carmelo made the last-minute decision to nominate and strap the helmet back on. Having been out of the kart for several months due to his soccer commitments, it was great to see him back on the track. Chayse’s goal was to continue building valuable seat time ahead of some of the biggest race meetings still to come this season.

To make things even more challenging, both drivers were competing at Grenfell for the very first time.

Friday was dedicated to practice, with both drivers completing four sessions while learning their way around the B Layout of the Bogolong circuit. Each session brought more confidence as they adapted to the new track and fine-tuned their setups for race day.

After several months away from karting, Carmelo made an impressive return to the driver’s seat. Despite the lack of recent race time, he quickly found his rhythm and drove consistently throughout the weekend to secure a well-earned podium finish in his comeback meeting.

TOP 5 AT THE CREEK 💪🏁

📍 Sydney Illawarra Kart Club – Eastern Creek Karting

Round 3 of the Sydney Illawarra Karting Track Championship saw another competitive weekend for Chayse. It was an up-and-down meeting, highlighted by a blistering pole lap in qualifying.

The race pace was strong early in each heat, but tyre performance faded towards the end of the races. The team is still racing the chassis from Chayse’s rollover at Canberra a few weeks ago while we wait for a fresh shipment of chassis from Italy. Unfortunately, the current chassis isn’t responding to setup changes the way Crew Chief Greg Stanley would like.

A costly 10-second penalty for a starting infringement also made the weekend more challenging, but Chayse kept fighting and came away with another Top 5 finish in a stacked field.

🏁 2026 DUNLOP KART STARS – ROUND 4
📍Manning Valley Kart Club | Wingham, NSW
Race #17 of the 2026 Season

Round 4 of the 2026 Dunlop Kart Stars Series marked the first appearance for BRP Motorsports in the Dunlop Tyres-sponsored championship.

Friday’s opening practice was the perfect start, with Chayse Attard topping all three practice sessions and showing strong pace straight out of the trailer.

Saturday featured two more practice sessions, qualifying and two heat races. Chayse was second fastest in Practice 4 before the team fitted a new set of green tyres. Unfortunately, the extra grip generated by the tyres slowed the kart by around half a second per lap, leaving the team chasing the setup ahead of qualifying. The crew worked tirelessly throughout the day to remove grip from the kart and improve its balance.

Sunday brought the Pre-Final and Final. A DNF in the Pre-Final was a disappointing setback, meaning Chayse would start the Final from eighth on the grid. Crew Chief Greg Stanley made the right setup changes, giving Chayse a kart capable of running with the front-runners. Chayse charged through the field to finish fifth, with the pace suggesting a podium was well within reach had track position been on his side.

What started as a promising weekend turned into another reminder of how unpredictable motorsport can be. There were highs, lows and plenty of lessons, but the speed shown throughout the weekend gives the team plenty of confidence heading into the next round.
