Major service completed on an Audi S3.

Check engine warning light appeared on customers car and was experiencing rough idling. Upon inspection and diagnosis, it was evident that there was misfire issues.

As a result, we changed the spark plugs, ignition coils and replaced the PCV valve.

Major service completed on a Toyota Aurion.

Check engine light was on and customer was experiencing shaking while driving. Upon inspection and diagnosis, it was clear that there were misfire issues on cylinders.

In saying that, we replaced spark plugs and ignition coils. Also changed the engine oil, oil filter, air filter, pollen filter and cleaned the throttle body.

Completed an oil change and oil filter change on both a Toyota Hilux SR5 (diesel) and a Hyundai i30 Premium (diesel).

Both cars were due for an oil service as they have reached over 10,000km period.

As the oil repeatedly cycles through the engine block, it accumulates grime and contaminants. The oil filter’s efficiency decreases and the oil quality degrades, providing less efficient lubrication.
As the dirty engine oil degrades, friction increases, causing a rise in engine temperature and a decrease in performance. As a result, oil will evaporate quicker which will reduce oil level and leave an insufficient quantity to provide adequate lubrication.

This can lead to high risk of excessive wear and damage to your engine components, shorter engine life and potential engine failure.

Replaced the timing belt, water pump and camshaft seal on a Toyota Hiace (diesel).

Customer was due for a timing belt replacement as it has reached over 150km period.
A worn timing belt can affect the engine’s timing, leading to poor performance and reduced fuel efficiency.
If you do not change the timing belt at the recommended time you could end up causing extensive and costly damage such as engine failure, broken valves, camshaft damage, piston and cylinder wall damage and much more.

It is recommended to change the water pump at the same time as the timing belt, as both systems work together. If not replaced, the faulty/old water pump may not be able to circulate coolant through the engine block, resulting in overheating. (Swipe to see the old vs new water pump!)

Also replaced camshaft seal as there were traces of oil found on the timing belt cover (swipe to see the oil leak and faulty seal).
