Sydney Truck & Trailer Repairs (STTR) is hiring

We are looking for a 4th year apprentice or qualified tradesman to join our team.

This is a full-time role with work carried out both in the workshop and on-site across Sydney Metro and surrounding areas.

About the role

You will be working on a range of heavy vehicles, trailers, traffic control vehicles and equipment, plant and civil equipment, carrying out servicing, repairs, maintenance and breakdown work.

Main duties include
    •    General servicing, repairs and maintenance on heavy vehicles
    •    Servicing and repairs on trailers
    •    Servicing, repairs and maintenance of traffic control vehicles and equipment
    •    Fault finding and diagnosing mechanical issues
    •    Attending site call-outs and breakdowns when required
    •    Working both independently and as part of a team
    •    Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and safety

What we are looking for
    •    4th year apprentice or qualified tradesman
    •    Strong mechanical knowledge and fault-finding skills
    •    Experience with heavy vehicles, trailers or related equipment preferred
    •    Reliable, motivated and able to work unsupervised
    •    Current driver’s licence
    •    Good communication and time management skills

What a successful day we had at our client day! 🙌

Our very first client event was an incredible milestone for STTR, showcasing the Blade TMA to the Australian traffic industry and giving attendees the opportunity to learn directly from the source.

A huge thank you to Patrick from Verdegro, who flew in to share his unmatched knowledge, answer every question, and provide insights about the Blade TMA that many in the industry had never heard before. His expertise added immense value and helped everyone understand exactly why this technology is changing the safety standard worldwide.

We couldn’t be more proud of the turnout, the engagement, and the amazing feedback we received. The level of interest and support from the industry has exceeded all expectations.
