🇮🇹 1927 Lancia Lambda 🇮🇹

It’s not every day you get the opportunity to work on a car approaching 100 years old! This beautiful 1927 Lancia Lambda came into the workshop for a few adjustments to get it running and driving as it should.

🔧 Carburettor adjustment and tune
⛽ Fuel tank flushed and cleaned
⛽ Fuel lines thoroughly flushed out
🦶 Clutch pedal adjusted
🛑 Brake pedal adjusted
✅ Final check-over and road test

The Lambda was an incredibly advanced car for its time and remains a very special piece of Lancia history. It’s always a privilege working on classics of this age and keeping them on the road for future generations to enjoy.

🇮🇹 1966 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT 🇮🇹

This beautiful 1966 Giulia Sprint GT was recently in the workshop for some maintenance and a few important repairs to keep this classic Alfa performing as it should.

🔧 Minor oil & filter service
🔧 Twin carburettors tuned and adjusted
🔧 Found incorrectly fitted flare nuts with the wrong thread pitch for the ATE rear calipers — rectified with the correct fittings
🔧 Historical Club Registration inspection completed

A small brake fluid leak can quickly become a serious safety issue, especially when incorrect fittings have previously been used. Everything has now been sorted correctly and this gorgeous Sprint GT is ready to get back on the road. 🇮🇹👌

🇦🇺 LC TORANA — MECHANICAL FRESHEN UP 🔧🔥

This tough LC Torana came into the workshop for a good list of mechanical repairs and upgrades, making sure it’s not only looking the part but running and driving properly too.

Work carried out included:

* Rocker cover & sump gasket replacement
* Oil pickup removed and unblocked
* Old diff centre removed & replaced with a 3.5 ratio Speedmaster diff
* New rear shock absorbers
* New outer tie rod ends
* New MSD Blaster 2 ignition coil
* New spark plugs
* Radiator serviced
* New thermostat & gasket
* Tappets checked & adjusted
* Carburettor checked & adjusted
* Engine oil & filter service
* MSD rev limiter set correctly

A great old-school Aussie classic with plenty of attitude — and that V8 certainly fills the engine bay nicely! 👌🔥

🔴 1985 Alfa Romeo GTV6 — Proper Maintenance Matters 🇮🇹

This beautiful 1985 Alfa Romeo GTV6 came into workshop for a comprehensive service and a few issues that needed sorting.

We carried out:

🔧 Full fluid service
🔧 Clutch master cylinder replacement
🔧 Clutch pedal adjustment
🔧 Spark plug replacement
🔧 Diagnosed & resolved a cold-start issue
🔧 Fuel level sensor replacement
🔧 Drive belts replacement
🛞 New set of tyres fitted — the old tyres were over 20 years old!
📋 Handwritten Pink Slip inspection for Club Registration

⚠️ One thing that caught our attention was the drive belts. The vehicle had undergone a timing belt service less than two months ago, however the auxiliary drive belts hadn’t been replaced at the same time.

And while the old tyres may have still looked okay at a glance, at over 20 years old they were well past their serviceable age. Age matters just as much as tread when it comes to tyres, especially on a classic that may not cover many kilometres each year.

Another gorgeous classic Alfa now serviced, sorted and ready to be enjoyed. ❤️🇮🇹

🔧 SECOND OPINION, CORRECT DIAGNOSIS! 🔧

This Fiat 500 came into workshop after the customer was previously advised that it required a Selespeed/Dualogic unit replacement.

The customer wasn’t convinced and brought the car to us for a second opinion. After carrying out our own diagnosis and testing, we found the Selespeed unit wasn’t the problem at all.

The actual fault was with the clutch and selector fork.

We carried out:
🔧 New clutch kit
🔧 Clutch fork replacement
💻 Selespeed/Dualogic system reprogramming & calibration
✅ Final testing and road test

With the correct repairs completed and the system properly recalibrated, the Fiat is back on the road and operating as it should — without replacing an expensive Selespeed unit unnecessarily.

A proper diagnosis can make all the difference.

This 2017 Abarth 124 Spider came into the workshop for some important preventative maintenance to keep it running at its best.

We carried out:

🔧 Timing belt and drive belt replacement
💧 Water pump and coolant replacement
🔋 OEM battery replacement for added peace of mind
✅Muiltair Unit filter cleaned
✅ Final checks completed and ready to hit the road!

This old-school Rat Rod has been getting some serious upgrades here at Mastertouch Automotive. Keeping that tough, raw exterior exactly how it should be while upgrading the mechanicals, driveline and electrics underneath. 💪🏼

Under the bonnet, the 454ci Chev Big Block has received:

🔧 Edelbrock Carburettor and high-rise intake manifold
⚡ New high-performance ignition system, distributor & leads
🔩 Rocker adjustment
✨ New chrome valve covers
⚡ Upgraded and cleaned-up wiring throughout
📊 Ford Auto Meter gauge upgrades

Backing up the big block, we’ve also fitted a new Turbo 400 high-torque automatic transmission with a stall converter, ready to handle all that 454 torque.

A great combination of old-school Rat Rod character with some much-needed mechanical and electrical upgrades. Big block, big torque and plenty of attitude! 🔥😎

We couldn’t resist getting these two together! A gorgeous classic Fiat 500 alongside its modern-day Fiat 500 cousin, both finished in almost the exact same shade of beautiful light blue. 💙

Decades apart and very different mechanically, but there’s one thing they definitely have in common — they’re equally cute and unmistakably Fiat! 😍

The classic represents where the legendary Fiat 500 story began, while the modern version carries that iconic Italian personality into a new generation.
