A lot of people know us for GT-Rs, Silvias and fast street cars.
Then every now and then something like Glenn's off-road buggy rolls through the doors.
Under the skin sits a Toyota 2GR V6 that was previously running a supercharger package we tuned some time ago. Since then the combination has changed. The blower has come off and the management package has been reworked, which means it's back on the dyno for a fresh calibration.
Looking around this thing, it's hard not to appreciate how purpose-built it is. Tube chassis, long-travel suspension, a rear-mounted radiator package and not a whole lot else. In fact, for today's tuning session it didn't even have a floor fitted.
Everything on the car exists for one reason: to survive being driven flat out over terrain that would destroy most vehicles.
It's a very different environment to what we're used to seeing on the street, but the fundamentals are the same. Get the package right, make it reliable, and give the driver confidence to use all of it.
Safe to say this isn't your average Camry.
