1994 BMW K1100 LT - not your average Flying Brick.

With a sizable list of tasteful custom upgrades this BMW came in to rectify a number of issues and ensure all elements of this build comes together nicely.

First up was a fork rebuild with new seals and oil, along with repairing some ageing components that are getting trickier to come by. A pair of raised clip on bars to improve ergonomics, headlight and indicator electrical fix, along with a quality rewiring of the rear indicator and brake light assembly by adding a waterproof plug to provide easy removal when needed.

A thorough inspection of the clutch pivot arm and transfer case boot found a small leak and a replacement of seals was done to rectify. With a longitudinal engine setup this was not your straight forward access job. A maintenance service with full fluid change was also undertaken.

Diagnosing and repairing the electronic system. This system overrides the factory key and traditional starting operation by utilising a wireless key fob and a trick instrument cluster. Testing the main board, rectifying the wiring issues and replacing the damaged key, the bike now starts with 007 Bond vibes. Having taken it for a test ride, she sure has grunt and an amazing note with the individual throttle body air filters.

We also offered a hassle free pick up and drop off transport service.

Finally as always a signature Micky K's detail was completed to make her pop.

Final destination to fix all issues.

2010 Yamaha R1 cross plane

After an extended period enduring the demands of commuting needs, this attractive R1 was overdue on maintenance and repairs. Full engine service, coolant, spark plugs, intake, brake system service, new forks rebuilt with new seals and fluid, a number of general fairing and fastener repairs and the infamous headlight wiring failure needing an upgrade.

2009 Yamaha Virago XV250

This classic Yamaha V-twin is a time capsule travelled only 1,655kms and one owner since new, however with little use in recent years this beautiful machine needed a full service and carburettor rebuild.

Using quality Penrite fluids, new spark plugs and a carburettor removal, disassembly, ultra sonic clean to remove crystallised fuel, reassembly and precise tune this Virago now runs crisp with ample response and torque as if it were EFI.

Finished off with a signature Micky K's detail it received a full paint and chrome polish and ceramic protection making it beam with gloss and now easy to clean.

As the owner was ready sell, we also managed all steps of the sale process from start to finish.

2016 Yamaha R3 in for a service, thorough check over and a broken rear set replacement.

This neat little bike presented well for its age with low kms travelled and a respectable pink vinyl application by the owner. Always great to see riders do some DIY on their rides.

Finished with a complimentary wash this R3 visually pops and is ready for all occasions.

WTAC 2025 tested every limit - from practice to the final shootout - securing its place in our history books.

Plazmaman’s Alex Michalsky didn’t just run the business - he practically lived in the workshop, hand-building the iconic Evo 6.5 TME alongside the skilled Eric who was there the entire time. From engine building, wiring, and sub-assemblies to exhaust fabrication, together they poured countless hours into a machine built not just to compete, but to win - using premium and proven Plazmaman products throughout.

The local legend Tom from brought his unmatched seasoned expertise, ensuring the chassis setup, alignments, and mechanical prep were on point. Norc from Plazmaman provided crucial support behind the scenes and trackside.

Micky K’s Motorsport stood firm by the team all week - from practice through to shootout - providing race management, pit crew support and 's signature Race Blend coffee uplifting the entire garage.

With a brand-new setup just days before competition, the team faced mechanical and electrical hurdles. Still, we laid down a blistering 1:31.580 lap Friday morning. The shootout brought nail biting suspense, as Michael Garland from clocked a record 1:31.413. Then, Alex responded with a final record-setting 1:30.718 - securing the Clubsprint win and class lap record.

The raw emotion of victory - relief, joy, celebration - was felt by all.

We at Micky K’s salute and respect all competitors. Special mention to Michael Garland for an epic battle of JDM legends - EVO vs STI. Hats off to Trent Grubel and for pushing the WRX to its limits. We felt your heartbreak when mechanical issues halted a shootout appearance.

And to Jimmy Assad of - phenomenal performance and PBs all weekend.

Year after year, the bar gets higher, and the class record keeps falling.

The drivers are nothing short of amazing backed by impeccable and committed teams to bring it all together.

An all-star team will always beat a team of all stars.

Until 2026…

Nail biting shoot out

The Haltech Clubsprint class at the Yokohama World Time Attack Challenge has seen action aplenty over two action-packed days at Sydney Motorsport Park. Plazmaman's Alex Michalsky broke the class record twice, sending the Haltech Clubsprint class into the 1:30 bracket.

Defending 2023 and 2024 champion, Trent Grubel, had a tough run with mechanical issues ahead of the event, but he bounced back to break his record on Day One, running a 1:32.032 before taking the DC J*p STi back to their workshop to change the engine overnight.

Trent’s record didn’t last long, though, as Plazmaman boss Alex Michalsky broke it with a lightning-fast 1:31.580 to lead the class from Day One. Day Two saw Trent and the DC J*p STi return to the track, but their joy didn’t last long as the new engine failed in Turn One. Former Clubsprint champion Jimmy Assaad in the ERS Evo knocked out a 1:32.047 but couldn’t get a lap together to challenge for the win.

In the Supercheap Auto Superlap Shootout Michael Garland pushed his GotItRex GC8 Impreza up the leaderboard with a belter 1:31.413 before Alex Michalsky came out and smashed the Clubsprint lap record with a scintillating 1:30.718 lap to take the win.
