modified a new oem loom to delete all the twin turbo control and unused operations and added in e85 flex sensor, oil pressure n temp, fuel pressure n temp, 3bar denso factory style map sensor. Cooler charge side bosch combo air temp & Boost senor. 2x knock sensors, mac valve boost control and Motec CAN Lambda. Using a repinned haltech plug n play adapter to allow the Motec M130 to control it all. Walbro460 intank with new high current studs and supplied a 70Amp relay circuit that was also run thru the factory firewall grommet. All ready for it to be put into action. ido12v

When some1 uses a cheap terminal and the incorrect crimper on a terminal at the fuel pump relay... this caused a hot join that in turn loaded up the circuit and placed more strain on the sh*tty fuse holder that they also used causing the fuse to generate additional heat causing more resistance in the fuse holder that again in turn was more resistance again that further comprised the circuit and the poor pump was not getting anywhere need the correct voltage/current it needed to push the volume it needed. This was done by a shop too.
If the job doesn't look the best.... its maybe cause it's not the best. Quick patch job to bring this up to scratch till the car gets a new ECU and it will be fully replaced at that time. ido12v over 25yrs in the trade

Another random 9pcs of sent from a seller in Adelaide for a local guy in Sydney to give his 5litre a new lease on life. For some random injectors where 4 were marked as VN and Unknown condition... and the other 5 were marked as VR high km... these all flowed very well after a full strip down and clean and were all flowing smoothly with less than 2% difference between all injectors. These have maybe been the best flowing set of random injectors that I have seen todate. ido12v keeping the 5Litres alive.

Sent in from South Australia. These 4 sets of injectors were in need of a a good clean and service. 8 injectors from these 4sets were not flowing any fluid as they had old stale dried fuel holding the tips shut... after many rounds in the hot ultrasonic cleaner one by one started to pulse again and out came all the old stale dried up fuel. New seals and filter baskets and a new lick of paint as the original paint just falls off in the bath and these 4sets are ready for a new lease on life. ido12v

When you MAX out all the inputs on your Haltech R5... remember that your dash also can be used as a io expander.. just incase this car gets a clutch sw fabricated to fit in the future its also clutch sw ready. Always like to think ahead and future proof the wiring to suit 😝 ido12v

Another car out of the stables.
This #1600 had a motor fitted to spice it up a little. I had wired the motor and some body loom work with Haltech fitted up a while ago and was returned this week to finish off all the loose ends and to have its new interior (full retrim by )also fitted off.
Updates included Miltimedia headunit/speakers (as these were all incorporated in the new retrim) wire up all the new and previous missing lights and highbeam/indicator switch assembly. Fabricated a bracket to hold the combination switch to the coloum (as this was a later model collapsible coloum added) modified the boss kit to allow the Self-Cancel function of the left/right indicators to function and correctly hook up the horn to work via the wheel button.
Update the ic7 to the latest NSP platform and calibrate the majority of all sensors and program the exhaust cutout to open and close via the haltech keypad.

Fast cars and Customs are my main line of work, though I do have a very active role in the Caravan and RV industry to help design and develop 12v/240v/LpGas/plumbing products to suit the Industry.
So when I was asked to look at a newly built Caravan where they were lucky to get a channel at times at best, I accepted without asking any questions..
Funny thing.... the owner of the RV stated that they called many "Antenna specialists" and no one would come out to look at it once they knew it was a Caravan.
When I looked at the antenna it was a model that I did the R&D and compliance on bout 10years ago so was geeat to see it beimg used.. I said ok where is the antenna powersupply switch and the owner looked confused.. seems the RV manufacturer did not install the correct "power injector" and fitted a cheap USB 5V inline powered injector.... this won't do much as the antenna needs a 12v feed to enable the masthead Amplifier up on the roof. I had the correct parts on hand so was able to cut out the wall to house the correct switch plate and modified the power and antenna connections and a TV retune. We ended up tuning in over 60channels inc Wollongong channels, from the RV located at Hornsby. Have no idea or all the other RVs with this same setup would ever work correctly.

Starts and runs. Ready for pickup. This 13b was towed in as someone had tried to wire it all up but I would say really didn't have the know how to do so. It was running at some point in the past but the more I looked the worse I felt. To keep it cost effective it was I just cut off all the rubbish and made the rest of the body loomnin the bay as neat as possible and made a fresh new loom and connected to all up under the dash. At the same time a fan relay and temp switch was wired up and added into the loom to keep the fan operation automatically controlled (Yes some people still want to be ablento control it via a switch in the dash only... but when you forget to turn it on.... you cook the motor) as while as adding a fuel safety relay (tachometric relay) to mimmic a efi 4second prime and to only run with the engine on... stall it and the fuel pump switches off straight away. Cleaned up all the years of poor repairs under the dash and this is ready to be all fitted back up and put some miles on this fresh motor.

When Brad @ Darbsys Mechanical and Customs calls to see if a set of injectors can be tested due to a running rough issue, he was spot on with the diagnosis... 2 of the 6 RB injectors were seized due to old stale contaminated fuel, as this car has been sitting for nearly 10 years. Since we could see 2 were stuck closed a 80DegC hot ultrasonic bath was used to get in and dissolve the contaminated fuel on and in the bore of the injectors, then the injectors were allowed to sit semi submerged while being driven by the machine at an idle speed and after another 30min they started to free up and pulse as they should. Old stale fuel when it dries tends to turn to a hard varnish/super glue type mess hence why the injectors were stuck closed.
These received a full service and flowed all within an acceptable % across all injectors and were fitted with new o'rings and stainless steel mesh filter baskets.
The video shows the break up of the contaminated fuel being dissolved and pushed out by the pulsing of the injector pintle action. (The sound level is very loud as this is the frequency of the ultrasonic machine doing its work. The ultrasonic action on its own is not enough to complete the cleaning process as i also use a very high strength cleaning solution that is dissolved in and the combination of this is what cleans and restores the injectors).
