Bit of work i did last month . 440/500ci mopar .
Came in with a broken rocker arm .
After checking over including a leak down test- ok.
Found :
Rocker shafts fitted up side down.
Hydraulic roller camshaft fitted BUT incorrect valve springs fitted . This has led to a lot of valve bounce which has damaged valve sprung shims/ seats and knocked valve guide seals off .
Distributor cap and rotor button burnt out .
Rectification included :
New Comp Cams steel rockers
New correct Isky valve springs , seats, retainers/ locks .
New Johnson hydraulic roller lifters .
New Crow Cams pushrods .
New dist cap and rotor .
