A VW MK5 Golf GTI that could rival 6 figure sports cars on track? You better believe it!

Our long time customer and good friend Angus, AKA "2K8GTI" sent us some action shots from a recent track night, showing off some absolutely mesmerising brake glow.

Angus is the epitome of a "grass roots racer" and represents a type of customer we'd like to have hundreds of.

We first met Angus in 2022, and since then helped turn his daily driver into a heat-seeking track weapon with some of the best bits on the market, such as:

- VW MK6 Golf R injectors

We'll always have a soft spot for VW MK6 Golf R's, especially in Rising Blue!

Bardon, AKA "BRDN" recently sent us some photos of his pride and joy after fitting a plethora of goodies we’ve supplied for him.

We were stoked when Bardon first reached out with his plans and couldn't be happier to get onboard with the project, helping him to achieve something that's nothing short of show-car level.

No stone was left unturned when it came to building this car, which is why we were tasked with supplying:
- Bilstein Suspension Australia B16 coilovers
- Rex SuperSport carbon fibre vented bonnet
- Rex SuperSport carbon fibre fenders
- VW MK7.5 Golf blackout style sequential headlights
- VW MK6 Golf R style sequential taillights

Bardon's car is a prime example of how good older VW’s can look, rivalling current models with the help of tasteful upgrades and modifications.

There's nothing better than seeing our friends and customers out on the track!

Sean, AKA "SPK117" was out at Sydney Motorsport Park for Roll Racing Sydney's most recent event, both competing and capturing some awesome shots of his VW MK7.5 Golf R which were sent to us earlier today.

Sean has the perfect setup for both daily and track duties thanks to goodies like Bilstein Suspension Australia's B16 DCC compatible coilover solution.

What we didn't mention in our last post that showcased Edward's, AKA " EDITED" car was that:
- B16 coilovers offer improved dampening rates
- No modifications are needed when it comes to installation
- The DCC function can allow for track level stiffness or street level softness at the touch of a button

Sean's car hosts a plethora of parts we've supplied over the years and we can't wait to supply more goodies to feed his go-fast addiction in the future.

It's always nice when our customers check in!

Loyal customer Ed, AKA "EDITED" has sent in some stunning photos of his tastefully modified VW MK7.5 Golf GTI TCR.

Ed is a perfectionist when it comes to modifying his cars. There isn't a single upgrade on his car that wasn't carefully thought out.

We don't need to be fortune tellers to know that just about everyone wants to know what Dan's car sounds after our most recent post.

Be warned, what you're about to listen to is loud but very, very cool.

Hear it's menacing tone on idle and it's monsterous growl when revving, all thanks to a custom, straight pipe exhaust system, paired with a PRS RACE-FLOW 4 inch downpipe.

From a weekend track casual, to competing in 2024's World Time Attack Challenge!

We're ecstatic to be alongside Dan and his VW MK7 Golf R track weapon, supporting his journey as he takes on one of the greatest motorsport events ever to be held Sydney Motorsport Park.

We've been working with Dan over the last few months, providing advice and a number of solutions for his needs, including:

Can you believe a stock weight Audi 8V.5 S3 on street tires can consistently achieve mid to high 10 second 1/4 mile passes with trap speeds north of 125 MPH?

Did you know that Audi's S3 model has been using the same engine found in VW's Golf R for over a decade?

What's great about this is that parts which fit a Golf R engine, will likely fit your Audi S3's engine too.

If you don't believe us, preferred installer network member Carbon Autohaus recently had this Audi 8V.5 S3 in for:

- PRS RACE-FLOW, 4 inch downpipe
- NGK SPARK PLUGS Australia R7347-9 spark plugs
- Galano Engineering fuel system upgrades

These are the exact same parts you'd see on see on "stage 2" or higher VW MK7 & 7.5 Golf R models.
