Let’s show we want bikes in Sydney guys. All info in post below with a bit of a bonus if you get you tickets online you can go to the drags next door and get in for free. That’s only if you buy online for the Speedway.

As race day gets closer we receive lots of messages and emails here at the track, so we’ve put together an FAQ post to help you enjoy your night at the speedway.

Q. What time does it start on Saturday February 7th?
A. Spectator gates will open at 3.30pm, with bikes on track for practice at 5.00pm and racing from 6.00pm

Q. What time does it finish?
A. We will aim to have all races complete by 10pm, however this is just a guide and could change

Q. How much are tickets?
A. All online ticket prices can be found & purchased using this link

Q. Can I still buy tickets at the gate?
A. Yes, tickets are still able to be purchased at the gate, however they are cheaper online, and you will beat the queues.
If you would like gain FREE entry to the Sydney Dragway event, your tickets must be purchased online

Q. Do you offer companion card tickets?
A. Yes companion cards can be used if you are the dedicated career of a GA ticket holder. Proof will be required upon entry.

Q. Can we pack our own food?
A. Yes, this is fine however no commercially available take away food or glass is allowed in the venue.

Q. Is BYO allowed?
A. NO, bags will be checked upon entry to the venue so please do the right thing. A fully licensed bar will be open for your convenience, and yes $5 cans of Mountain Goat Beer will be available.

Q. Do you have corporate boxes available?
A. Yes, our boxes are designed for 15-20 person groups and can be booked by contacting us at [email protected]

Q. Is there a livestream?
A. Yes, please head to www.motorsportstv.live for all the action LIVE!!!
This is the ONLY live stream available, don’t get scammed by fake links.

Q. Can we go into the pits without a pit pass?
A. Yes, for this event ONLY we will have a make shift work area setup for all our riders and crews, this will be setup using plastic barriers & ALL general admission ticket holders will have the chance to head into the pit area and get up close to the riders without being in the “pits” making for great photo opportunities and rider autographs

Q. Is there reserved seating?
A. No, all seating is first come first serve, the main grandstand is usually in complete shade by 3.30pm.
If you would like to sit in the terraced area, please pack camping chairs or blankets to sit on.

Q. I’ve never been to the speedway, what should we pack?
A. We would recommend some hearing protection for the kids, and possibly yourself if you don’t like loud race engines, some old safety glasses or sun glasses are another great item to throw in your bag, the speedway can get a little dirty so please dress accordingly and make sure you are sun safe.

Q. Will there be merchandise available?
A. Yes, our trackside shop will have a range of merchandise available as well as the drivers and teams.

Q. Is there parking available?
A, Yes, we have access to plenty of parking should the main carpark fill up before your arrival.

Q. Is there a runsheet?
A. A race program will be available for a gold coin donation to Camp Quality, these will be available from the 50/50 raffle ticket table

Q, I want to go to the drags before the speedway to take advantage of the great offer, where do I park?
A. Please Park in D1 or D2 carpark, this will put you right in the middle of both venues with a small amount of walking to do.

Q. What time can we get into the Dragway?
A. Speedway ticket holders will have access via the Dragway spectators area from 12pm.

Q. I have purchased a Highline Lounge ticket, Where do I go?
A. If you have a Highline Lounge ticket, please head to the box office upon arrival to collect your arm band.

THE BIKES ARE BACK for a Sydney Send Off.

Good opportunities do not come around very often, so we are grabbing this one with both hands.

As many of our elite riders get set to pack their bags and head overseas for a big season of racing, we figured the best way to send them off was the only way we know how, racing in front of a Sydney crowd right here at Western Sydney Speedway.

There will be some big names, plenty of emerging talent, and bikes back under lights where they belong.

We have also got the 1000cc sidecars on the program because, let’s be honest, a night of speedway bike racing just would not be the same without them.

The Sydney Send Off is a laid back, family friendly Saturday night at the speedway. Good racing, good people, and a good time.

It is time.

Thank you to everyone for your patience leading into our first practice session last Friday night.

We understand the season calendar has been the subject of a lot of commentary over the past few months.

It has been a challenging period for our sport. We have worked through a change in venue operations, resolved a number of track safety matters with Speedway Australia and Motorcycling NSW, and reshaped the track to deliver a racing surface that will excite competitors and fans. There is still work to do, and we want to make sure that when we open our gates for competition and to the public, we do so with a clear plan for the season ahead.

With an outstanding effort from the team, we are now ready to go racing.

It is time to release the Western Sydney Speedway season calendar, with Sprintcars remaining the key feature at the venue. We are committed to working with the Sprintcar Association of NSW to secure their ongoing support and get Sprintcars back racing at Western Sydney Speedway.

This seasons calendar looks different, and that is intentional. It gives us a strong baseline to build on, with better racing, a better experience for fans, and opportunities to strengthen the sport.

This is only the beginning.

More events are being developed and will be added throughout the year. We are already working on new ideas and concepts we are excited about. You will see more opportunities for grassroots racing, skills development and track time. This includes selected club and development events, mid week Test and Tune nights, private venue hire and non racing activities that help keep the venue active and sustainable.

Our goal is to build something that works long term and supports the sport from the ground up. To the speedway community across Sydney, NSW and beyond, we invite you to stand with us, support the venue, support the clubs and support the teams.

Tickets for the November 22 event will be available to the public online shortly and we have something special planned😁
