We often get asked how we flush coolant in the Grand Cherokee's, especially after an oil cooler failure.
We use specialist equipment that evacuates the entire cooling system, removes trapped air, and then draws in fresh coolant under vacuum. That means:
No air pockets
Proper bleed and flush the first time
Full coolant replacement, not just a top up
For the DIY guy or girl at home, I know that’s probably not what you wanted to hear 😅
But fret not, you can make it work if you own a garden hose. Just take your time and please be mindful of the environment when disposing of the old coolant. It’s harmful and should never go down stormwater drains.
If you’d rather have it done properly the first time or not deal with the clean up and disposal, give us a ring on 9987 2818 and we can sort your out
