What would you do? Put in a 45mm spacer or go through all this effort?

Cut and lowered the front tank mount so it sits properly on this 1969 TR6 frame. It was a bit of a mission welding this with minimal contamination but got there in the end with no pin holes after pressure testing 😉

I often spend a lot of time thinking through ideas and perfecting the end result. I guess close enough isn’t good enough, even when mounting indicators to an old 2-stroke dirt bike like this 1980 Yamaha DT175 haha 😉

The cleanest DT175 in the land! 😉

Anyone can bolt on parts minimalistic and clean looking modifications take the most time and effort.

Posh indicators from Japan, stainless rod with M10 external and M6 internal, stainless M10 nut to lock indicator position, rubber well nut used as grommet and heatshrink for wiring.
