Twelve months ago, Jamie and I met on the road. In that very first conversation, he spoke about the opportunity to buy into Zone RV. We stayed in touch from that day, and over time a genuine friendship formed.
What stood out immediately was Jamie’s passion for Australian-made products, and his deep appreciation for innovation and quality across all of his brands. He could see the potential, and the value he could bring through his experience, vision and ability to help take Zone to new heights.
Over the past few months, a great deal has been happening behind the scenes.
I have had the privilege of working closely with Jamie and the Essential Caravans Design RV team across branding, marketing and digital media, helping shape this next chapter for Zone RV. Together, we have been focused on returning the brand to its foundations — lightweight, highly considered products that reflect innovation, quality and purposeful design.
This week marks a major milestone.
We have officially commenced production on our first two vans, and the refurbishment of our production facility is now underway. This work will continue over the coming weeks as we ramp back up, creating a strong foundation for this new beginning.
We are also committed to supporting those affected by the challenges of recent months and look forward to welcoming staff back on board as we continue rebuilding with care, confidence and momentum.
As part of this next phase, we are pleased to introduce Peter Johnson as our new General Manager. Peter, Jamie’s brother, is now here full-time to lead Zone RV. He brings strong leadership, valuable experience and a deep commitment to the future of the business.
Most of all, we are excited for what lies ahead — welcoming customers into the showroom, sharing our products with fresh energy, and creating a premium brand experience that feels true to the future of Zone RV.
A new chapter has begun.
