Mark came to us with a clear vision, great ideas and carefully chosen products. We brought it all together with the craftsmanship, quality and attention to detail that defines Mad Wild Campers.

Inside, premium Tasmanian Oak cladding meets crisp white cabinetry, custom doors with brass details and even a purpose built little home for Leroy 🐾 complete with lighting, ventilation and plenty of space.

Behind the cabinetry sits a serious Enerdrive off grid system, professionally installed from the charging system through to the inverter, battery bank, distribution and protection. Everything is integrated with Simarine monitoring, bringing power, charging and water levels together on one screen. ⚡💧

Outside, we fitted all terrain tyres, STEDI driving lights, our custom surfboard rack, spare tyre carrier with integrated ladder, jumbo storage box, European side steps, roof mounted solar and a full ceramic coating.

Every detail has a purpose. Every piece has been designed to work together. Built for adventure, built to last and completely unique to Mark and Leroy. 🚐✨

Their MWB 4Motion Crafter features our innovative layout, built around our Mad Wild Campers extension pods to create a proper East West full size bed without compromising space, flow, or comfort.

Premium grade Tasmanian oak, travertine stone tiles, warm lighting, and clean finishes throughout, giving the van a calm, refined feel while staying practical and durable 🌿✨

Fully equipped with Dometic aircon, Smart TV with antenna, Bluetooth Pioneer sound system, MaxxAir and Sirocco fans, plus clever storage all through the build, everything has been designed to make life on the road effortless 🤍🚐

You know how much we love creating unique Campervans... This one truly stands out. We spent more than two and a half months bringing it to life, carefully crafting every detail, from the full Raptor paint job to the custom aluminium outdoor gear and the aluminium extension pod that gives you proper standing room inside. 🚐🔥

As usual, this is fully engineered, legal and certified. The vehicle has been properly weighed and complies with Australian regulations. It is fitted with an LH11 mod plate and has been certified in Queensland, giving you peace of mind that everything has been done the right way. ✅

It features a large upgraded Apple CarPlay screen with reverse camera and Pioneer speakers, Type X Pro Plus 8.5-inch Stedi caged driving lights with Stedi LED bar, a lift kit with new wheels and new all-terrain tyres. 🔊 🚐✨

The exterior has also been upgraded with an aluminium extension pod + bull bar and an upgraded aluminium rear bumper for towing + jerrycan holder and spare tyre carrier.

We are excited to share this beautiful campervan conversion, built for Kerri and Rob, and a true reflection of what an amazing collaboration can create. This VW 4 Motion Long Wheelbase Crafter has been designed and crafted on the Sunshine Coast with genuine love for what we do, and it has been an awesome journey from start to finish, working closely together to create something truly unique. 🚐🐝✨

At the rear of the van, the shower has been built entirely from scratch in our workshop, with a gently sloped tray, sleek strip drain and carefully finished surfaces, all meticulously waterproofed in multiple stages. A custom sliding door allows access from inside the van, while soft lighting, integrated storage, an extraction fan and a sliding toilet come together to create a space that feels refined, practical and comfortable. 🚿✨

Walking through the shower leads into a spacious kitchen finished with Tasmanian oak benchtops and travertine tiles, fitted with high-quality modern appliances. A large fridge and freezer, under-mounted sink, oven and three-burner cooktop, soft under-cabinet lighting and generous overhead storage make this a warm and inviting space to cook, relax and enjoy life on the road. 🍳🪵✨

The Tasmanian oak-framed lift-up bed drops smoothly from the ceiling via a strong and effortless electric system, allowing the space to transform into a comfortable lounge during the day. Details like the oak sliding door, soft bed lighting, Fiamma awning, Lagun swivel table, Maxxair fan and Pioneer built-in speaker system bring everything together in a way that feels calm, balanced and just right. 🛏️✨

Behind the scenes, the off-grid system is built to the same standard, running Enerdrive lithium batteries with a 3000w inverter charger at 100a AC DC, a 40a DC DC charger for charging while driving, and a 40a MPPT solar charge controller, along with circuit breakers and a fuse box, all fully engineered and certified. Sealed and externally vented battery boxes, active cooling and Simarine monitoring make the system intuitive, reliable and stress-free to use. 🔋⚡✨

Built strong, built properly and built to be truly off-grid, this van represents who we are and how we build, with care, passion and pride in every detail. 🚐💛✨

We recently completed this beautiful Hiace for Avalon, one of our lovely clients, and the whole project was a pleasure from start to finish.

Inside we have a full Tasmanian oak cladding with our signature Tasmanian oak floating light which sets the tone for a warm and peaceful interior.

We installed roof bars, a Fiamma awning and a solid ladder setup on the back door, along with a hot outdoor shower perfect for long beach days and road trips.

The white cabinetry and travertine details bring everything together in a simple, practical and refined way.

Inside our latest Mad Wild Camper build : VW Crafter Medium Wheel Base 4 Motion, you’ll find a space that blends warmth, craftsmanship, and practicality. The interior is lined with Tasmanian Oak cladding and cabinetry that we craft in-house by our amzing team ! No CNC cutting ! Pressed with buckskin veneer on Gaboon plywood for a timeless and unique finish. Clever details like our dual-way heavy-duty slide system for portable toilets, a Dometic fridge, and smart layouts bring ease and comfort to everyday life on the road, making the van both beautifully functional and simple to live in.

On the outside, this Crafter is just as ready for adventure, equipped with a lift kit, all-terrain tyres, roof rack, awning, wheel carrier with ladder, and large RV windows that open the van up to the landscapes around you. Built to perform wherever the road leads, it’s sleek, simple, and designed for freedom. And of course, no Mad Wild Camper story would be complete without our four-legged mascot.

We’re back to showcase one of our signature campervan conversions, crafted for Lili from Lennox Head. Her Toyota Commuter is a beautiful reflection of what Mad Wild is all about high-end design, practical features, and pure craftsmanship.

Inside, we paired beautiful ceramic tiles with a black stainless sink and tap, a warm Tasmanian oak bench, and our signature handcrafted cabinetry. No CNC machines here, just the skill and care of the Mad Wild little Humans in our team. Every drawer, table and bench is shaped in-house with patience and passion, creating a layout that feels simple, solid, and effortlessly elegant.

We also added a full-length Tasmanian oak pull-out bench and a neat entry step for easy outdoor living. It’s the kind of thoughtful detail that makes this van both functional and stylish. And even with the bench and table set up outside, there’s still plenty of storage throughout the van.

We had a great time collaborating with Lili, and we’re proud of how this one turned out. Thanks for all your kind words and support; it means the world. We love what we do, and we love sending you off on unforgettable adventures in beautiful, strong, practical vans.

We had so much fun building this beautiful Mercedes Sprinter Medium Wheelbase for Simon and Aisling. Together we designed and delivered the perfect getaway setup for their adventures with their gorgeous baby and dog. The photo of them says it all, they were super thrilled, and that honestly makes us so happy. We brought their vision to life, crafted a beautiful van full of love, good vibes and high quality materials, right here with the Mad Wild crew.

The back of the van was designed especially for their dog, Ocras. We built him the ultimate dog house, with plenty of space and visibility from every angle so he never feels closed in. Two fans ensure perfect airflow, a waterproof floor and a removable rubber mat make cleaning a breeze, and his nameplate is proudly mounted on the door. And for the rest of the crew, there’s a hot shower at the back, perfect for post beach rinses or off grid living. Comfort and practicality, just how we like it.

Step inside and it just gets better. The cabinetry is all custom built in house, handcrafted from beautiful Tasmanian oak with no CNC machines, just skilled hands and sharp design. We added extra storage under the additional seat, fully engineered and certified, and installed custom made extension pods finished in Raptor paint to match the exterior and keep a consistent, rugged look.

The kitchen is a standout. A stunning Tasmanian oak benchtop, custom undermounted stainless sink with matching benchtop cover that doubles as a prep board, matte black tap with hot and cold water, and an induction cooktop right beside it for easy off grid cooking. Subtle under cabinet lighting adds warmth and ties the whole space together, with every detail thoughtfully crafted for ease, beauty and function. A little kitchen that truly does a lot.

We also installed a Dometic 113L fridge and freezer combo, seamlessly integrated into the cabinetry. Two swivel seats and a Lagun table with Tasmanian oak top create the perfect space to relax off grid, whether it’s dinner with the kids or a game of cards after sunset, this clever setup makes the most of every inch.

On the electrical side, we equipped their van with 600Ah of Enerdrive lithium batteries and a powerful 3000W Renogy inverter charger, perfect to run their rooftop Dometic air conditioning system fully off grid.
As always, we like to do things our own way and bring a unique touch to every build. Thanks again to Simon and Aisling for trusting us, we had an absolute blast bringing this one to life.

This van is all about calm, comfort, and quality. A Medium Wheel Base, High Roof build designed to feel warm, open, and beautifully functional.

Handcrafted Tasmanian oak runs through the curved window frame, custom divider, and ceiling.

There’s a pop-up indoor hot shower with a homemade shower tray, engineered to perfection.
Even doubles as a little bath for the kids or to rinse off the pup after a beach day.

The kitchen is compact and solid: Enerdrive Dometic fridge and freezer, double gas burner, black stainless sink, and sage green ceramic tiles tying it all together.

Under the surface, a full Enerdrive system with 2x 300Ah lithium batteries powers the lot, with full control via Simarine . You’ve got a Dometic rooftop aircon to stay cool, Pioneer speakers for rich sound, and a Fiamma awning ready to roll out when it’s time to kick back outside.

More than just a van… it’s a space made to slow down, feel good, and enjoy the little things wherever you are.
