Wednesday mid week meetup with Classic & Historic Automobile Club of Caboolture (CHACC)

The weather gods were good to us today. No rain for our car run.

We met up with CHACC at Elimbah store for morning tea.

There was also a little strip of shops, if you are looking for something a little different - Radiant Temple (shop 7) has a beautiful range of Crystals, Jewellery, books & clothing.

We then adventured to Bribie Island Surf Club for lunch, lucky we had an early booking, there was quite a line up when we were heading out.

I can see why it was popular, the view was stunning, great service & our lunches came out together as a group very promptly.

As always we enjoyed the company & a great catch up - Thankyou Arthur MVOC & Kim CHACC for organising a great get together.

Paula and Bridgette Powers have been rescuing and treating Pelicans and sea birds on the sunshine coast for more than 16 Years!

Unfortunately Dereck & I missed this event, but it was great to hear from Arthur that they had a great day & even nicer to see on their website, they fully enjoyed the visit as well.

I have shared the photos from the Twinnies FB page, it looks like a great day was had by all.

We had a nice little gathering for our outing today at Caboolture Historical Village.
We arrived in time to have a cuppa & chat for morning tea. We pre-ordered our lunch for midday.

We had a nice walk around the first half of the village - came back & enjoyed our lunch, then worked our way through to the other end of the village.

Hidden down in the back corner was a car display.

Dereck reminisced in the dairy & then we found a quirky chap riding a bike with only his cap on.

This would definitely be a spot that you could easily return to & see a whole difference range of things you glazed past.

If you didn’t make it to the outing today, it is well worth taking a drive to see it OR put up a suggestion to have another run to it in a few more months.

Don’t Forget it’s Beachfest weekend.

I’ve taken a little clip from the council website.

With some luck the rain might go away by Friday.

Dereck & I will be there - we are at the beginning of Bulcock St ( green zone)

If anyone else is displaying their car - post up your zone.

If you’re not displaying your car. This would be a great way to spend your weekend.

Downunder Beachfest is a vintage car festival that spans four days, offering a variety of activities. Here's a taste of what you can look forward to at the annual Caloundra event:

Another nice spot for a cuppa & a chat on our mid-week run from Aussie World to Maggie Mays Kitchen.

We sang happy Birthday to a few special people this week, Bevin joined us & read out a lovely poem.

We had a potential new member (Ian), in his Mercedes. His wife sent him along solo, to check us out.

Next week is Downunder Caloundra Beachfest, hope to see you there.

We won’t be at the next outing at Cooloolabin Markets, if anyone wants to take some photos, and share them here on FB that would be great.
