Don’t Forget it’s Beachfest weekend.

I’ve taken a little clip from the council website.

With some luck the rain might go away by Friday.

Dereck & I will be there - we are at the beginning of Bulcock St ( green zone)

If anyone else is displaying their car - post up your zone.

If you’re not displaying your car. This would be a great way to spend your weekend.

Downunder Beachfest is a vintage car festival that spans four days, offering a variety of activities. Here's a taste of what you can look forward to at the annual Caloundra event:

Car Cruises
A convoy of stunning classic cars cruising through scenic routes of the Sunshine Coast. It's a sight to behold and a highlight of the event.

Live Entertainment
From rock 'n' roll bands to local tunes - get ready to groove in the street!
Street Parties

The streets of Caloundra come alive with delicious food, live music, merchandise vendors, and, of course, rows of gleaming cars. Wander through the street events, soaking up the festival atmosphere.
Show n Shine events

Car enthusiasts will appreciate the beautiful machines - the car displays at Beachfest is a must-see with over 550 registering for the Caloundra event. You'll find everything from meticulously restored classics to unique custom builds. Registrants come from near and far - with many interstate and international.

Merchandise and Traders
Check out the exclusive Beachfest merchandise and local traders. It's a great opportunity to pick up some unique souvenirs and support local businesses.
Downunder Beachfest gives back to the community. Each year, the event supports local organisations and raises funds for registered charities.

I hope to see you there.

Another nice spot for a cuppa & a chat on our mid-week run from Aussie World to Maggie Mays Kitchen.

We sang happy Birthday to a few special people this week, Bevin joined us & read out a lovely poem.

We had a potential new member (Ian), in his Mercedes. His wife sent him along solo, to check us out.

Next week is Downunder Caloundra Beachfest, hope to see you there.

We won’t be at the next outing at Cooloolabin Markets, if anyone wants to take some photos, and share them here on FB that would be great.

David & Jade had a great time at Cruisin’ Caboolture Car Show.

It rained of course & I think it hasn’t stopped since.

David joked that Emma his 1928 Willys Falcon Knight got there and back without breaking down

Lots of people were asking questions about his treasure

Most people haven’t seen one before as there was only 207 of them made between 1927 & 1928.

They put club flyers along the running boards & wore their club shirts, GREAT idea for advertising MVOC.

HISTORY
Built by Eagers in Brisbane in 1928, one of only 204 made. Car is all original including paint. Spent majority of life in Adelaide before being bought through Lloyds auctions from a deseased estate sale and returned to Brisbane as part of a car collection. Bought by me and now resides on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. Was undriven for approximately 60 years but is now being driven again. Paint has had a 4 stage paint correction to bring back some of the original shine. The Falcon Knight was only produced for 2 years and is a rare car.

David has been kind enough to share some photos & I think it is worthy of featuring on our cover page this week.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE YOUR CAR FEATURED, please send me a msg, with a few photos & some info about you & your car

I would like to feature every club car- don’t be shy.

I’ve just copied this from David Blee’s page. Looks like he had a great time despite the rain.
