This Stoney Creek Outrider came in for a much-needed solar and battery management upgrade after the factory-fitted flexi panels weren't keeping up with the owner's power demands. The existing setup simply wasn't charging the batteries efficiently, and the hit-and-miss battery monitoring left little confidence in the system's state of charge.

To solve the issue, we removed the poorly installed flexi panels and upgraded the roof solar with:

☀️ 2x 200W Exotronic Solar Panels
☀️ 2x 250W Exotronic Solar Panels
⚡ Victron SmartSolar MPPT Controllers
🔋 Victron BMV-712 Battery Monitor & Smart Shunt

The new setup provides significantly improved solar performance, accurate battery monitoring, and a much more reliable off-grid power system.

The owner wanted a true off-grid capable setup, so we completely removed the existing batteries and charging system and rebuilt it properly from the ground up.

Everything was redesigned and installed into the rear tunnel boot to maximise space and functionality.

Full system includes:

✔️ Victron Multiplus-II 12/3000/120 inverter/charger
✔️ Victron Cerbo GX + Touch 70 display
