This Urban Caravan is now seriously off-grid ready! ⚡️

The goal with this build was simple — create a reliable, high-performance off-grid system using the brands and components we trust and confidently recommend.

We retained the factory-fitted BMPro system, but purely as a fuse block and for water tank monitoring. All charging functions have been removed, with the Victron system now taking care of the serious work.

The new system includes:

🔋 2 x 345Ah PowerPaul Australia Pty Ltd Scout lithium batteries — giving a massive 690Ah of usable battery capacity.

⚡ Victron Orion XS 50A DC-DC Charger for fast and efficient charging while on the road.

🔌 Victron MultiPlus II inverter/charger supplying power to all GPOs throughout the caravan, including the air conditioner, microwave and more. When connected to mains power, it can also charge the battery bank at up to 120A.

☀️ 1000W of Exotronic solar, managed by both a Victron 100/50 and 100/30 MPPT solar controller, ensuring maximum solar harvest.

📊 Victron SmartShunt, Cerbo GX and Touch 70 display giving the owners complete visibility and control of their entire system.

And best of all, with the Victron GX ecosystem and remote monitoring, we can provide support and monitor the system remotely no matter where their travels take them. 🌏

This isn't just about fitting the biggest battery bank possible. It's about designing a complete system where every component works together, is properly protected, easy to monitor and built for reliable off-grid travel.

We’re stoked to be supporting Spenny G as he continues to chase his motocross goals.

This young bloke has some serious talent on two wheels, and it’s awesome to be able to play a small part in supporting him as he develops his skills, gets more seat time and takes on the competition. 🤘

Motocross takes plenty of commitment, hard work and dedication — and Spenny is putting in the effort both on and off the track.

We’re looking forward to following his progress and watching him continue to push the limits! 🏆🔥

The owner of this tidy Ford Ranger Platinum made the trip down from Gympie for a few days to have us install this monster behind-seat dual battery setup—and explore a bit of the region while they were here.

At the heart of the system is a massive Lifetek 310Ah lithium battery, neatly installed behind the rear seat to provide serious off-grid capacity without sacrificing valuable tub space.

The setup includes:
🔋 Lifetek 310Ah Lithium Battery
⚡ REDARC Alpha50 R with battery monitoring shunt for vehicle and solar charging
⚡ Jack relocation kit to maximise the available space behind the rear seat
⚡ AusMotion tub switch panel with USB-C charging, Anderson outlets and more
❄️ Dedicated Anderson connection for the fridge
☀️ Wiring to the tub rack for portable solar input
📡 Power provision for Starlink Mini
⚡ Clean, protected and serviceable wiring throughout

The result is a seriously capable touring setup with plenty of power on tap, while keeping the tub free for all the gear that comes with exploring off-grid.

It’s always great to see customers willing to travel for the right setup—and while we took care of the Ranger, they got to spend a few days exploring what the Southern Downs has to offer.
