Red Bull Soar to Victory in the Bahrain Grand Prix!

It was a racing showdown like none other – and in the end, Max Verstappen was crowned king of the Bahrain Grand Prix. His win marked the start of the 2023 Formula 1 World Championship in grand style, with Verstappen and his team-mate Sergio Perez also taking first and second place respectively for Red Bull.

Verstappen won the race by 11.9 seconds – an impressive feat despite starting on used soft tyres compared to Charles Leclerc's brand-new Pirellis. The Dutch driver managed a 1.8s lead at the end of the second lap, going on to successfully manage his tyres and gain a comfortable win.

The race wasn't without its disappointments though: Aussie driver Oscar Piastri had a rough debut for McLaren with an electronic gearbox failure ending his chances early on; but despite this setback we're sure Piastri will be back with more determination than ever when the next race rolls around.
