When a turbo fails, the repair doesn't necessarily stop with the turbo.

Dion is replacing the intercooler on this one after a turbo failure, where there's a risk that metal debris from the damaged turbo may have made its way through the system.

It's about making sure the problem is dealt with properly — not just replacing the failed component and hoping for the best.

Sometimes it's what you can't see that matters most.

Feedback like this means a lot to the whole team. 🙌

We always aim to look after our customers and their vehicles the way we'd want to be looked after ourselves, so hearing that someone genuinely felt that care makes our day.

A big thank you to Annie for taking the time to leave such a great review — and for trusting the Auto Response team.

Local service. Real solutions. That's Auto Response.

Ever wondered what working on an engine actually looks like from the mechanic's point of view?

This time we're putting you in Dion's shoes as he gets hands-on, removing components and working his way through the engine.

No fancy camera angles — just a proper mechanic's-eye view of a day in the workshop. 🔧

Always satisfying to watch.

Sometimes it's the simple things that make the biggest difference.

Regular oil changes help keep your engine lubricated, protected and performing as it should.

When was yours last changed?

Ford Ranger owners — don't ignore this ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️

Chad takes us through an engine failure on this Ford Ranger and explains how the timing belt can become a very expensive problem when its scheduled replacement is overlooked.

Preventative maintenance might not always feel urgent, but it's a lot better than dealing with an engine failure later.

Not sure when your timing belt is due? Have a chat with the Auto Response team and we can help you check.

For us, servicing isn't just about ticking items off a list. It's about taking the time to properly inspect your vehicle, paying attention to the details and identifying anything that may need attention.

Because when you leave your car with us, we want you to drive away knowing it's been properly looked after.

Due for a service? Get in touch with the Auto Response team to book in.

Sometimes diagnosing a leak involves using more than just your eyes… 😂

A mystery fluid means figuring out exactly what we’re dealing with and where it could be coming from.

Apparently these two decided a little workshop taste test was part of the investigation.

Just to be clear — maybe don’t try this one at home. 😂

Your car might look like it's in a video game here, but vehicle safety is very real.

Worn brakes, tyres, steering and other safety-critical components don't come with a reset button when something goes wrong.

Regular servicing and inspections can help identify problems before they become something more serious.

You only get one life. Look after the car that gets you home safely.
