All Round Mechanic – 4 Day Work Week (Fridays Off!)

We are a small, family-owned and operated mechanical workshop based in Strathalbyn seeking a reliable and experienced All Round Mechanic to join our team.
With only two other team members on site, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a close-knit, supportive environment where quality workmanship and customer service are valued.

🔧 About the Role
This is a full-time position working 4 x 10-hour days (Monday to Thursday) — enjoy every Friday off!
You will be responsible for a wide range of mechanical repairs and servicing across various makes and models.
Key Responsibilities:
• General servicing and maintenance
• Diagnostics and fault finding
• Brake and suspension repairs
• Engine and transmission work
• Roadworthy inspections (if licensed)
• Maintaining a clean and safe workshop
• Providing honest and professional customer communication

✅ What We’re Looking For
• Qualified Motor Mechanic (Trade Certificate required)
• Minimum 3+ years workshop experience preferred
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently
• Reliable, punctual and professional
• Hold a current drivers licence
