We are seeking a dedicated and organised Workshop Administration Officer to join our team. This full-time role will provide crucial administrative support to our busy workshop operation, ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day operations.
What you'll be doing:
- Handling customer enquiries and coordinating bookings and schedules, contacting customers to update progress on their vehicle repairs or job completions
- Maintaining detailed records and job files
- Liaising with our internal and external stakeholders
- Ordering parts and supplies as needed
- Assisting with invoicing, quoting and other financial administration tasks
- Providing general office support to the workshop team
- Contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience in an administrative or customer service role, ideally within an automotive or trades environment (highly regarded, but not essential)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with customers and stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in using standard office software, such as Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in using Xero or similar software (highly regarded, but not essential)
- A passion for providing exceptional customer service
- A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
