Couldn’t agree more….. the best 👏🏻 🏇

🏇 The inaugural ‘Wimmera Barrier Attendants’ race was run at Donald today.

It was the last race on the card and our Wimmera barrier attendants were on hand to present winning trainer Nell Carter with a horse rug and jockey Tom Madden with arguably the more important prize… a bag of lollies! 🍭😀

We’re incredibly lucky to have the best barrier attendants in the industry working across the Wimmera…..yes, we’re definitely biased, but we’ll happily stand by it!

You couldn’t ask for a better bunch. They show up, they’ve always got your back and most importantly, there’s plenty of fun and banter along the way.

A small way to recognise a great group of people who are such an important part of racing here in the Wimmera (and beyond)!

Thank you to Baz, Dane & Browelly who were on hand for the presentation today but also thank you to Jade, Steve, PK, Bede, James & all the wonderful barrier attendants across the industry🏇👏

Happy Horses’ Birthday! 🐴🎉

Today we celebrate the incredible thoroughbreds that make racing so special. Every horse officially turns a year older on 1 August, making it the perfect excuse to spoil them with an extra carrot (or two)!

A special shout out to all the horses in work at Stawell Racecourse and to the dedicated trainers, riders, stable staff and connections who care for them every day.

Wishing you a wonderful year ahead & continued success in the new racing season🥕🎂💚
