🔧 2015 Mercedes-Benz ML350 CDI – Oil Cooler Replacement

This one came in for an oil cooler replacement.

On a Sprinter this job is relatively straightforward.
On an ML350? It’s a huge job.

Lots of labour, careful access, and proper procedure required to get it done right.

Another one successfully completed and ready to hit the road again.

🛠️ 2024 Mercedes-Benz 907 Sprinter in for some important work today

This Sprinter came in for:
• Major service
• Rear brake pads & discs replacement
• Front brake pads

While replacing the front pads, something immediately stood out — one of the front hub bolts was DEAD LOOSE!

After speaking with the customer (who mentioned a recent wheel alignment), we checked the other side… and found the same issue. Both sides were loose.

A timely find. Loose hub bolts are a serious safety concern and can lead to much bigger problems if left unchecked.

It’s a good reminder that even after other work is carried out, a thorough inspection can pick up things that might otherwise go unnoticed.

🔧 Subcontract job for a busy Sprinter workshop

Just finished this high-mileage Mercedes 906 Sprinter 316CDI (475,000 km).

The customer missed a 1-litre oil patch under the van and ignored the timing chain rattle… until it jumped teeth and the van wouldn’t start.

What we found:
• Timing chain had jumped teeth
• Broken chain guide
• Cracked timing cover → massive oil leak

With that many kilometres on the clock, checking the bottom end is non-negotiable if you want real longevity. And good thing we did — the bottom end was on its way out.

We carried out a full bottom-end service, fitted a complete new timing chain assembly, new timing cover and the rest of the required parts.

3-day turnaround.
Ready for another 475,000 km 👌👌

Today's call-out 👇

A workshop had just replaced the complete fuel system on an OM651 due to water contamination. The first three injectors came out no problem… then they hit #4.

It was almost seized solid. The mechanic even had to smash the rocker just to get better access — still wouldn’t budge.

That’s when they called us.

We travelled onsite with the specialised tooling and had the injector out in 15 minutes. 👌

That wasn't the surprise I was hoping for when I opened the bonnet! 🤢🤢🤢🐀🐀🐁🪤

There's a complete rat's nest behind the airbox, and the bonnet lining has been completely chewed up. It was parked it in a barn with hay.

Luckily Enough no wiring had been chewed.

Our work on the East Coast is now complete. We appreciate everyone who scheduled a booking with us.

We were on the road for 7 weeks and took only one full day off 🥱 currently nursing a back injury with cut the journey short.

We are currently accepting bookings for mid-August

Thanks again to all my suppliers organising parts and shipments to customers streamlining the work.

⭐2016 Mercedes Benz 906 Sprinter Car Audio Upgrade⭐

The customer's vehicle had broken and distorted speakers, along with the original head unit. We recommended Rockford Fosgate speakers with tweeters and a wireless CarPlay head unit.

All components were supplied and installed by our team.

The result was a significant improvement in audio quality, providing clear and crisp sound 👌🔊🔊
