Matty's tough 5.7L LS1 build is finally coming together.

Featuring a forged bottom end with Spool crank and rods, CP forged pistons, Melling high-volume oil pump, double-row timing chain, Comp Cam, and heavily ported Engine Pro heads fitted with the correct valves and springs to suit the combination. Everything is secured with ARP hardware throughout.

Up top sits a Harrop HTV2300 supercharger with a Gilmer drive, delivering that unmistakable blower whine everyone loves.

Engine management is handled by a Haltech Elite 2500 with fully integrated A/C control and an IC-7 digital dash. Fuel delivery is taken care of by 1300cc injectors, Turbosmart fuel regulator, and a triple-pump fuel system featuring three Walbro 525s in a custom fuel cell.

Backing it all up is a transbraked Powerglide with billet gearset and all the supporting components required to comfortably handle 1200+ RWHP.

Tuned by our good mates at ASG Motorsport, the combo laid down a comfortable 700RWHP with plenty more left in it. We're not finished chasing numbers yet, but for now the customer couldn't be happier.

Lukes LSA powered XG ute killing at the track on the weekend. 9.1 @150 Mph on its first pass still got plenty to take on the start line yet.
