KINGSHOTT LOCKED IN FOR Q16 AUSTRALIAN TITLE CAMPAIGN
Queensland Speedway Spares is excited to announce that Dayne Kingshott will take the wheel of the iconic Q16 for the upcoming Australian Sprintcar Title at Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway in November.
This announcement has been months and months in the making, with the prospect of bringing two teams together gaining momentum during the February Sprintcar series in Perth earlier this year, where both teams were competing.
This campaign continues the long-standing relationship between the Krikke and Mann Families, who have shared a strong connection through Sprintcar racing for many years. Now, that relationship will see the two teams join forces on one of the biggest stages in Australian Speedway.
Kingshott joins the Q16 camp following an impressive run of results both here in Australia and overseas, including his recent USA tour.
The West Australian has enjoyed plenty of success over the past season, claiming his third MTSS Championship, adding another King of Wings victory to his name and becoming a two time USA v WA Speedweek winner.
Behind the scenes, KMS Crew Chief Matt Cochrane and QSS’s Adam Bylsma will work along side one another, combining their knowledge and experience to prepare the Q16 for the national title.
Before the Australian Title gets underway, Kingshott will contest Men’s Mental Health Night on October 17 at Toowoomba Speedway, giving the team an opportunity to hit the track together before November.
Backed by Bill and Robyn Mann, Queensland Speedway Spares and Performance Wholesale, the 2 event tour will also see Premier Safety and Media solutions come on board to deliver high-quality content and media coverage, capturing both the action on the track and behind the scenes with both teams throughout the two events.
With the months of planning now coming to life, we’re looking forward to seeing Dayne take to the track in the Q16 along with the help of Matt and Josh playing an important role in bringing this exciting collaboration between two well established teams together.
We cant wait to see everyone trackside at Toowoomba Speedway on October 17 as we kick off what is shaping up to be an exciting couple of events for the Q16!
