While operating in a much reduced capacity, a few jobs are still progressing through the workshop. Major rust repairs are underway on the EH Holden. And recently, a mechanical overhaul for a very cool 1940 Ford hotrod. Having been originally rodded in the late 70s, we looked to preserve the car, by retaining as much as possible of the original build. Brakes, steering, cooling system, wiring, fuel system, engine and even the doors, all received work, to ensure the old Ford can be enjoyed for many more years to come.

Small announcement, unfortunately we are no longer able to offer painting services due to our painter unexpectedly sustaining a significant injury which will require an extensive recovery period.
We apologise for the inconvenience however we can recommend other options of auto refinishers who provide exceptional work.

Update: we are currently closed for the near future, awaiting some building repairs to take place.
So here are a few progress pics of our 48 Ford as it was progressing. Starting with a good acid wash to remove a lot of the rust staining, with some fresh satin black laid down in the engine bay and on the floor. Next was fabricating Hurst style mounts for the 351w c4 combo. These mounts pick up the factory chassis mounting holes at the front of the engine.
The engine and trans combo were chosen due to their size and fitment within the chassis centre X frame, avoiding the need to cut out and replace, what is a good, strong factory centre section.

Workshop update.
Mustang has gotten a few jobs finished off for engineering, including a set of custom Simmons to get the front and rear track within specs. As well at finishing of the new wiring harness.

LJ GTR getting new sills, once opened up, the inners were found to be poor also, so new sections were shaped up to suit.

EH getting some subframe repairs, ready to mount back to the body.

Thanks to Alan for trusting us with getting his 302w c4 mounted and running in his Volvo.
Lots of fab work, wiring etc on this project. With the aim to integrate as many of the original Volvo systems as possible. Such as shifter, throttle, fuel system etc etc. Plus some modern additions like the electric power steering pump.
It's now ready to go home to the owner for fresh paint work in Nardo grey, per the engine bay.
