This is were I get annoyed with drop in piston kits, customers buy them thinking (and rightly so) they are model specific and can just be dropped in and ride.

Not so, 0.2 float is getting right into sx range, way to tight for mx and these are an enduro kit.

No wonder all the clickers are screwed right out.

I use these K tech low friction piston bands for two reasons.

First the obvious one, low friction, seriously.

Second by using a joint in the band you can keep a constant pressure and seal between the band and rubbing surface.using a spring under the band, in this case a rubber I ring, So more constant damping.

Third (I said two didn't I). The joins provides something of a (very) low speed bleed which softens damping at 0-30mm /s^2 area and that's not a bad thing.

Spec them when you get a service and it only adds a few $.
