🌟 End of Year Thoughts from the Speedy Spanners Team 🌟
What a beautiful way to finish our last day of work before our Christmas shutdown. Today, a customer came up to us and said:
“I just want to say how great I think your business is — how professional it all is. Just great.”
Coming from someone with a mechanical background who truly understands how tough this industry can be, that really meant the world to us.
We’re human, we care deeply about what we do, and sometimes that means the tough days hit a little harder — but we always show up, do our best, and keep moving forward.
We also want to be real for a moment. Owning a small business is by no means easy. There are great days and challenging days, amazing customers and the occasional difficult situation. Trust can be hard to earn in our industry, especially when so many people have had poor experiences elsewhere. That’s why we try our very hardest to make every interaction a positive one. We welcome feedback, we listen, and we’re always improving. After nearly 14 years in business, we’re constantly evolving our processes to be better than we were yesterday.
This year also brought some big changes within our team, and we honestly couldn’t be more grateful for the crew we have right now. Their dedication, work ethic, and care for this place truly shows. We’re not just colleagues — we’re a work family — and we couldn’t do this without them.
To our loyal customers: thank you for being such an important part of the Speedy Spanners family. And to those of you who take a moment to lift us up with kind words like we received today — please know it means more than you realise.
We’re looking forward to rolling into 2026 with fresh energy, new ideas, and the same commitment to great service. Wishing you all a wonderful holiday season and a fantastic New Year 🌟
Cheers,
The Speedy Spanners Team 🛠️

Why Is It Best Practice to Replace Brake Rotors Every Time a Vehicle Has Brake Pads Changed?
When it’s time for new brake pads, you might wonder why replacing rotors at the same time is considered best practice. Here’s why:
✅ Consistent Braking Performance – New pads on worn rotors can cause uneven contact, leading to vibrations and reduced stopping power.
✅ Safety First – Rotors wear down over time. If they’re below the minimum thickness, they can overheat or fail under heavy braking.
✅ Protect Your Investment – Pairing new pads with old rotors often causes premature pad wear, costing you more in the long run.
✅ Manufacturer Recommendations – Modern braking systems are designed for pads and rotors to work together for optimal performance.
Replacing both ensures smoother braking, better safety, and maximum value for your investment.
