This 80 series FTE conversion had some wiring issues with the original conversion loom done some time ago and some issues with the Unichip X being wired incorrectly, so the decision was made to replace the conversion loom and have the Unichip X sent over to HDAUTO for a decent tune to suit with 5 map select and all the features.

Diagnostic job for a new customer on a 100 to confirm brake master unit.

Pedal shudder under 5kmph

No communication to OBD port

Corrosion found on skid control ecu

Cleaned and re-installed

Communication is back and abs fault codes have cleared.

Now with Communication you can see the rh wheel speed sensor is dropping out causing pedal shudder /abs activity's

Conclusion, rh wheel speed sensor , pick up ring on axle (recently replaced) or wiring (visable damage)

Customer supplied with details, diagnostic data and genuine part numbers to forward to his mechanic for repair
