Dates are up for next year's Mundi Mundi.
Make sure you book your sites.
19th - 21st August 2027. Out on the Mundi Mundi plains.
A huge thank you to everyone who was part of this year’s Mundi Mundi Bash, whether you were on the inside or the outside.
After overcoming very challenging conditions, we had fine weather for the 3 main days and it turned out to be an incredible festival.
A big thanks to all of our emergency services stakeholders for working with us and supporting the festival.
We dealt with an all time record Broken Hill August rainfall, which brought around one third of Broken Hill’s annual rainfall. We were forced to close the entry gates on Wednesday with great sadness and huge disappointment due to site conditions caused by rain, particularly given the further rain that was expected and did fall on Thursday.
Apart from having reduced camping capacity, bringing more people onto the site would have impacted the safety of patrons, crew, volunteers and everyone else there.
To those who were not able to attend, our thoughts are with you. We did our best to provide some joy for those who couldn’t be with us by arranging bands and artists to play in Silverton and Broken Hill, as well as opening the site for day trippers on the final day once conditions allowed. However, we realise this couldn’t make up for the experience of those who were unable to enter the festival.
Big gratitude to our volunteers, event crew, production team, food vendors, artsist and contractors all of whom went above and beyond to make it a great festival.
We now can’t wait for next year’s Bash. We’ve locked in a fantastic line up of artists and are looking forward to kicking up a bit of red dust with you on the Mundi Mundi plains.
Put August 19-21, 2027, in your diaries and start planning 🤝
