UTAS Motorsport University of Tasmania's Formula SAE (FSAE) Motorsport Team UTAS Motorsport is now in its eighth year of operation, each year improving on the last!

University of Tasmania Motorsport is a student driven Formula SAE team comprised of predominately engineering students as well as students from other disciplines such as business and media. Students take on the role of a small production team and, within a year, must conceive, design, finance and manufacture a prototype formula style racing car that adheres to the regulations outlined for FSAE.

Last night’s sponsorship evening and car reveal was truly a one-of-a-kind event with sponsors and a few notable people from the UTAS school of engineering joining us to learn more about the team’s changes, accomplishments and goings-on over this past year.

we are so thankful for them coming to join us. Our lucky attendees also got the first look at this year’s vehicle under the red lights.

Their support, facilities and expertise were a massive help in getting our chassis build underway as well as giving us a solid foundation to work from. 🙌
