🇯🇵 Sean's GR Yaris - 235+kw atw.

Dave's install of the Lamspeed Racing LSR550 bolt on turbo kit, TBE, ARP studs, Kelford Cams and Springs, Eventuri intake, ETS intercooler, Xtreme HD SMF clutch kit, DW injectors and Jamie's silky Driven custom dyno tune utilising EcuTek with RaceRom features is a match made in GR heaven. The LSR550 kit blends significantly higher mid and top end whilst (with help from the Kelford A Cams) not sacrificing any noticable down low torque, we highly recommend!

The G16 3cyl 1.6T engine really is something to behold. With careful tuning these things are reliable, fast and super fun especially with EcuTek switchable maps, launch control, rolling anti lag, flex fuel capability and flat foot shifting.
Sean thoroughly enjoyed the show and tell on handover 👀 which gave him the confidence to set new PBs at The Bend.

If you've got a GR product and you want to make it a bit more....you, slide on in.

GDs for days, they're ALL getting some age and ks on them now. Crazy that the Bug is 26yo!

⬜ Soaul's wagon for major maintenance, repairs and diag.
🟨 Tim's fresh Bug for diag, repair, mods and dyno tuning. He was pretty pumped with the result 🤝🏻
⬜ Tom's Bug STi for the most infuriating diag we've had for sometime, repairs and a Link ECU package with protections and tuning.
🟦 Jayden's Bug rolling out for run in after a full 207 build, mods and tuning
🟦 Jack's Hawkeye for a full 257 build.

We average 12 GDs a week and we're here for all of them, whatever they need and whatever you want ✌🏻

There's a huge amount of love for these older models and our bookings show it's only increasing. Enthusiasts are understanding that these are the last 'raw' models before they started getting a lil softer and made for universal part time car lovers. We're here for all of them.

🇯🇵 Ryan's tarmac prepped minty Final Edition Evo X

The Evo X is a misunderstood beast. It's not until you spend some time with one, you understand they do everything the older models do, just with slightly more polish and refinement. This one has been set up for tarmac rally and we recently prepped him for some Collingrove fun.

Intended segue - Ryan owns Dirt Track Detailing in the Barossa, specialising in corrections, coatings and photography. We've worked with Ryan for a decade and I (and the refinishing industry) cannot speak highly enough of old mate. If you're in the Barossa, hit him up.

Ryan was rewarded with a passenger ride in our Evo. He, umm, enjoyed it I think 😅

Welp, we keep growing, our demand continues to increase and to be able to keep my team sane, we're searching for another experienced player.

What we need you to bring to the table:
- Demonstrable experience in servicing, maintaining, diagnosing, repairing and modifying performance Japanese vehicles - think Evo, STi, GTR, Type R and GR products.
- Confident in and wanting to grow your skillset and range.
- Tooled up.
- A genuine desire to perform independently as an appreciated and respected part of a cohesive and proactive team.
- To act with consistency, reliability, integrity and respect towards our team, the business, our clients and their prized possessions.
- Bonus points if you can weld, wire, face customers or any other beneficial skillset.
- Ability to work a confidential paid trial period over a few Saturdays so you and we are a comfy fit before taking the jump.

My goal is to offer a proactive, safe, positively challenging and supported work place. After 15 years of learning, growth and improvements in all aspects of the business Driven is one of SAs leading specialist Japanese performance workshops. Leigh's GR Yaris leaving with a Turbo back exhaust, CAI and custom in-house Ecutek dyno tuning resulting in 190kw atw. His evil grin during the road presentation made my day.

Sean's GR Yaris in for quite a bit more - LSR turbo kit, exhaust, cams, springs, head studs and gasket and Xtreme clutch. Will update this one once we're done tuning.

Any car that hits our dyno receives the time it needs to not only perform but to be as silky as possible. No cut, copy, flash and go here. The Ecutek software upgrade also brings with it RaceRom features which, every single time, result in the client giggling like a 90s kid opening a PlayStation at Xmas. Launch control, multi maps, flex fuel, rolling anti lag and flat foot shifting. These features not only add fun but make the car significantly faster...for...race tracks...👀 On handover, we will always ask if you would like us to personally show you how to use the features so you can have fun confidently...it's also just cool to see people's reactions 😂

If you have a manual GR Yaris or GR Corolla $2900 of your hard earned can make you also giggle like a kid. Stock cars will pick up about 20kw atw with significantly more mid and top torque and it only goes up from there...but as usual so does your mod spend 💀

We're working through the Gen2 auto as we speak, if you have one, want it to be lively and we can borrow for a week of testing, you would be handsomely rewarded 🤝🏻

World Time Attack 2026 - wrap up

Firstly, thanks to the organisers and volunteers that make the event as successful as it is. World Time Attack Challenge is an incredible world class event that really needs to be experienced to appreciate the sheer scale and variety.

Our Evo was the pinnacle of flawless, reliable performance. Racing for 3 days, bringing multiple PBs and driving back to the hotel after the event with nothing more than an exhaust fix needed. We were improving with each session however multiple red flagged sessions hindered our efforts but that's racing.

We're proud of what we brought to the table and how we conducted ourselves. I couldn't ask for more from the Evo or my team.
We met up with old friends and made some new ones and were blown away at the level of support received from friends, family and clients online and in-person.

We're keen to spend the coming months making improvements in both the Evo and driver 🙋🏻‍♂️and are keen AF for WTAC '27.

🏁 World Time Attack 2026 🏁

We're prepped, ready and loaded for the journey to represent our capabilities and SA for WTAC at Sydney Motorsport Park for racing this Thur, Fri and Sat.

Last year was full of first time nerves, this time, we just want to race. This year we're bringing more tyres, braking, power and torque, confidence and seat time. We're proud of what we're bringing to the table and hope the car gods are kind to all competitors and WTAC staff.
