🔧 Getting a Head Start on a Mechanical Career

For Year 10 student Bryce, work experience is helping turn an interest in the motor industry into a potential career pathway.

Bryce is gaining hands-on experience at local business Thorley Mechanical, a light and heavy vehicle workshop in the George Road industrial precinct.

Owner Jake Thorley, a former Tomaree High School student, is keen to give back to the local community and support students exploring careers in the mechanical industry.

A great example of local businesses helping students get a head start on their future. 👏

Here’s a few trucks we have recently had in the workshop for servicing and repairs.

Don’t forget we don’t just work on light vehicles. We also work on medium / heavy vehicles and have a fully qualified heavy vehicle mechanic as part of our team.
