Hi everyone,
I wanted to touch base to provide our valued customers, suppliers and the broader community with an update on the ongoing operation of Dore’s Elect-Air.
As you know, our family was recently devastated by the sudden passing of Dore’s Elect-Air Director, Stephen Dore.
Stephen and Kate Dore purchased Dore’s Elect-Air in 1982 and for more than 40 years have been proud small business owners and local employers in Roma. Dore’s Elect-Air was such a huge part of Stephen’s life and a key point of pride for him.
Under these difficult circumstances, we have worked hard to keep Dore’s Elect-Air running as normal for our customers and suppliers, thanks to the support of our wonderful team. As a family, we have also been working on the best way forward.
I’m pleased to advise that I’ll be following in Mum and Dad’s footsteps and continuing operation of the business moving forward. Together with my wife Tara, and our small family, we look forward to the opportunity to continue Stephen and Kate's legacy through another generation. I spent many of my younger years making fond memories in the shop, and I’m really proud to be able to share these same experiences with my own family.
For the past 16 years, I have come to know the business inside and out and am committed to leading our team to deliver the same high-quality service that our valued customers, partners and suppliers have come to expect.
While there will be no forward-facing changes for our customers or suppliers, I will continue operating the business under our own company WSB Industries Pty Ltd.
We intend to continue to trade publicly as Dore’s Elect-Air and are working through that process currently.
