The Eclipse Way
We have a team of experienced and professionally trained driving instructors from Joondalup to Mandurah, Midland to Fremantle. Choose automatic or manual cars & male or female instructors.
Eclipse Driving School began in April 2015 when Dave Butcher and wife Trish commenced with a couple of Instructors and before long, other Instructors saw the professional and honesty Eclipse promoted and joined the school.
Since those beginnings Dave started a Pre-Learner Driver Safety course at Perth Motorplex in January 2017, initially footing the complex hire himself. He approached the Rotary Club of Mandurah City in February 2017 who saw the course as something of great value to the community and who now fund the complex hire every month. The “RIDE” course has now been attended by over 600 young people who all say it is an awesome course, great safety message and they get to drive a car!
As a further commitment to the community, Eclipse Driving School is now partnering with Bassendean Youth Services, Cockburn Youth Services, Foyer Oxford and Mandurah Volunteer Services helping to train mentor driving instructors to assist those young people who don’t have anyone to help them the 50 hours required before their PDA. They also assess the youth to ascertain they are developed sufficiently to not endanger the mentor or the driving public.
